Bad goal given up by Lundqvist. Will we see Biron again on Saturday?

Islanders win the SO. They are 6 games over .500 on the road, 5 games under .500 at home. Ridiculous.

Huberdeau scores and has an assist. Not good for Gally's calder trophy bid.

Isles with an important win.

Toronto is pretty much guaranteed playoffs now (99% i think).

I don't see why we can't at least give the Pens a run for their money. Yes they just got stacked, but 7 point difference and we have 2 games in hand. Would ideally wanna finish 2nd in the conference. I think the final standing will look as they do today with maybe 8th spot changing. I don't mind playing the devils in the 1st round. Then again, have to get on a roll now to fend off boston, who would play either the Sens or Leafs. Either way those would be great series.

Just read this on the Bruins board from a member with Iginla in a Booins jersey avatar. Made me night.
LMAO!!! I need to sticky this to my signature. Epic fail from idiotic Ruins fan shooting himself in the foot.

I wish this day never ends. Lol

Edit: We should all remember this to shut Ruins fans' mouth: Iginla refused to go to Boston. (He didn't want to be part of a disgraceful team.)

I can't believe how stacked the NE is this year. It's ridiculous how competitive it is compared to last year. What a difference a year makes.

Yup. 42 points. Figure it takes 52 to get in. Maybe even 51.

They go 5-8 and they are in.

It looks more and more like we will face the Sens or the Leafs in the first round.

Still can't believe that Brendan Morrow somehow got Dallas Joe Morrow yet Iginla got Calgary 2 guys nobody ever heard of except for really devoted Pens fans. That's crazy. The only thing I can think here is that the Pens know that Iginla is a true rental, while Morrow might be someone that they can sign. Could be Iginla winds up back in Calgary next year.

Flyers now the 3rd worst team in the league. If they end up with Drouin I think I'm going to puke - Giroux, Couturier, Drouin? Maybe they'll trade that pick for D.

They were dealing with Jay Feaster, all you need to know.

Yeah but Iginla had the last word.

I really, really, really hope it's the Leafs then.

The Sens can beat anybody.

The Leafs have some scary firepower, but are a fundamentally weak team.

I want it to be Ottawa because I wouldn't be able to deal with losing to the Leafs.

After last night, I finally believe MTL will win the division.

Look for BOS vs. TOR first round!

Boston Toronto could be a war. boston would win but they would come out missing a few limbs

This is what I really want. I'm fine taking on the winner should we move on and the brackets align.

We really need to push for 2nd in the conference (if not 1st). Even though we are technically 1st, we need to win win win to stay ahead of Boston since they got a point. No more losing to crap teams. Get healthy, get Chucky and Lars more ice time (and ffs some PP time) and go into beast mode from here until the end of the season.

I want the devils 1st round. Or rangers.

It's also looking like Bourque might be out for quite a while, with him being in Atlanta seeing the neurospecialist.

I think Prust can address this issue, but Clowe or Jagr coiudl really help.

And when BOS vs. TOR happens, yes, whoever wins will probably be barely alive which should be good for us as long as Winnipeg loses to the 6th seed!

Be careful what you wish for, man..

Playoffs=new/different season.

Devils: They got Brodeur back. 7th last year, made the SCF.
Rangers: We'll see this saturday how our Habs play against Rangers WITH Rick Nash. Still a dangerous team and they also made the ECF last year.

I love being one of the top teams in the EC. But sometimes, I feel Habs are better off going to playoffs as underdogs.

Honestly, I would not bet $ on us winning any of these series being talked about. Or an Islanders series. Or a Capitals series. Or a Hurricanes series if Ward is in net.

What an odd feeling considering we're 2nd.

In the PO there will be no easy match ups.

Other teams probably are leery of meeting Montreal in the first....

Haha, not surprised to see you guys rooting for the Canes tonight. As much as we hate one another and how long our rivalry has been around, I have to admit, it'll be great to see the Leafs and the Habs in the playoffs again together. Been a looong time. Hope we can meet in a playoff series. Would be the best series in many many years. Cheers and good luck the rest of the way.
