Really seems clear this guy doesn't watch any hockey outside of the Flyers

If he did, he would have a little perspective

nope. wrong. have the CI pkg & watch a ton of games.

this team needs to do what winning teams do:
1. hustle for 60 minutes every game
2. play more sound defensively

blame that on the goalie all you like, but clearly your perspective is way off

I agree completely with those two things, but the way you put it makes it seems like your just trying to defer blame off bryz. Bryz also needs to play better, a lot better

The Flyers tie it up and it goes to OT. One thing you can count on in a shootout. We lose with Bryz in net. Down three starters on defense and the team fights for a comeback and gets it. Then slice their heart out because Bryz sucks at shootouts.

I know, I know, I know the goals weren't his fault, but you can't deny the shootout is.

The Flyers already had the worst shootout record and one of the worst shootout save percentages before Bryz came to town.

Him stopping 2 out of 4 Islanders shooters, including the best shootout guy in the league, is not worth getting upset over. Focus more on how terrible Schenn and Simmonds attempts were.

AS usual it's someone else's fault. Are you ever gonna make him responsible. He never even made a move on the top shelf shot, Like a DEER FROZEN IN HEADLIGHTS

Don't you know? Bryz is the team MVP and it is 100% not his fault when it is defensive breakdowns, breakaways, and mistakes the team makes.

Dude, you are the guy blaming everything that's wrong with the team on just the goalie and making false statements like we always lose with Bryz in net. He won the last shootout before tonight and is 1-2 on the season.

Except when he does, like the very last shootout before this one.

No, not everything, just the bad goaltending. In his two seasons with the
Flyers he's won two shootouts and both of those because the shooters missed the net. You'd think that as desperate for wins as this team is he could pull up his big boy pants and carry the team once in a while.

Wrong again. He went 3-5 last year, and is now 4-7 in shootouts overall for the Flyers.

He hasn't been a good shooutout goalie in Philly, but there's no need for you to lie about his record.

#33 last year and #40 this year for his save %. #25 last year and #32 this year for shootouts. But I was wrong on the shootouts, I was only looking at the home record. Anyway you look at it his stats are dismal.

Anyway you cut it his poor performance is affecting this team. I my "opinion" he is the reason the team has such a poor record. As I stated before the goalie is the most important player on the team. He inspires confidence or ruins it.

Yes, 39th in shootout save percentage with .444. It has to be someone else's fault. Maybe Reese.

Its just frustrating when you see your goalie constantly get sniped during SO's. He doesn't even react.

The three goals the Islanders scored in regulation certainly showed some major problems with the defense, problems that have been there all year long.

Sadly, those kinds of constantly deflections off of our own D and into the net have been a real problem since last year.

why the hell do people feel the need to defend freaking Ilya Bryzgalov?

I could understand if we had Quick or Brodeur in net, but people are defending a guy who wasn't that good to begin with.

Exactly, the sad part is some people don't think we shouldn't buy him out and let him finish his contract here like he will be able to turn it around. He had had 2 seasons to prove himself and has failed miserably. I CANNOT wait until they buy him out and finally get rid if the head case. What a huge costly mistake it was signing this guy. Sad part was even with his past he should have never been given that type of Contract. How could the Flyers management be so bad that they would give this guy a franchise contract?

You guys are missing the point entirely, we shouldn't have even been in OT. This team couldn't even hold a lead against the islanders, pathetic

And you would think the guy we are paying to be the goalie coach would help bryz improve. He makes himself as small as possible on breakaways/shoot outs, and is the opposite of aggressive. Switch it up
God

Both the goalie and the goalie coach can take a hike as far as I'm concerned.

it's never Bryz's fault! Even in the SO, the blame lies on his defense......

Yeah, they are a borderline playoff team this year and with all their youth could be very dangerous in the coming years.
