I think he was great, the most hardworking player throughout the season. Playoffs were just 4 games, I don't even remember how he played. But definitely a big talent.

If you don't mind, what parts of his game did you find good, and what parts could use improvement?

I can't think of a replacement for Slovan. With all due respect to Konrad, he is not a KHL starter.

What does Hudacek's contract with Frolunda look like?

He has NO CHANCE in NHL this and next season. So singning with Tampa would be step down

Laco is out of contract with Donbass, no? Obviously Janus is the better netminder, but he is still pretty decent.

Hudacek or Laco can be an option. He is no more ahl goaltender and there isn't space for him, in bolts roster

Why are you so sure? What did you think, when he signed with Slovan? Did you saw him already as a numero uno in SLovan? as a goalie with such impact? or as a backup?

You are hard KHL supporter and NHL opponent, but you dont have any crystal ball to foresee the future. If he plays at least 1 full NHL game, i will be happy for him. And im sure, he will be too.

It all depends if they are willing to make room for him, there is still some chance.

yeah i agree. but we still need first dman 'cause Stajnoch and Sersen are second pairing at the best. Sigalet if will re-sing too. We need som offensive dman like Visnovsky, Podhradsky or Granak. I would love to see Pardubice's Marek Daloga here, but he's too young to play 25+ minutes per game. Would love to see him in third defence this season.

ya, thats it. wanna re-sing guys like Sigalet and Vondrka, if not Vondrka resings, we have to acquire another czech forward, maybe Petr Vampola can be an option.

Would love to acquire young prospects like Lunter, Ceresnak and Cajkovsky. And Michal Handzus of course.

My line-ups for next season

Vondrka/Vampola - Mikus - Miklik
Hudacek - Handzus - Spirko
Bartovic - Bliznak - Bakos
Lunter - Olvecky - Dano
Stastny, Kytnar

Podhradsky - Sersen
Sigalet - Stajnoch
Mojzis - Daloga
Ceresnak - Cajkovsky
Datelinka

Janus
Konrad
Nagy

Why do you have Stastny out of roster? I think, his ice time will increase. He has bright moments last season. Also Vujtek said, he was very surprised with his performance.

I dont agree with aquiring Handzus, he is defensive center as Bliznak, but much older. Slovan does not need him, if has Bliznak. Mario is not as good as Handzus, but has much more potencial in future. Slovan needs offensive center, not defensive.

Also, I really hope that Cajovsky and Ceresnak aren't going to be fourth pairing d-men.. They have to be logging big minutes elsewhere in order to aid their development.

Couple of questions for those more in tune with Slovan.

I saw the rumours about Janus, is he under contract with Slovan next year? TBL backup goalie Mathieu Garon is UFA, so it's possible he could slide right into TB. I think he would outplay Lindback as well, so it's possible he could be a starter in TB next year, so if given the option he may return to TB.

Dano should get a bigger role next year, right? I can definately see him slot into the top 9 and put up ~20pts next year. Having him and Hudacek on different lines gives Slovan too very good playmakers up front, IMO.

The 'gentlemen's agreement' between Lokomotiv (who own his KHL rights) and Slovan is due to last until April 2014, so technically yes, Janus is a Slovan player at the moment.
