Pretty sure Lynk may become the next internet meme. A legend in these parts, no doubt.

Anyone else think the white Jets practise jerseys are nicer than the game ones?

I'm still not stuck on the "reflector" like bands on the arms of the away jerseys. It's not like I hate them, but they just stand out poorly to me given the flow of the jersey. Wasn't a fan of that part of the jersey design at the beginning, hasn't really grown on me since. Homes look awesome, because it flows much better, in my opinion.

Does anyone know if there is a plan to open more waiting list spots after the season?

Why would they? Unless more people drop out of the waiting list, I don't see them inflating the number beyond the 8000 it stands at.

So I was at the Billy Talent concert last night, and they made a "bet with Winnipeg" where if we meet them in the playoffs, and beat them, they'll come play a free show.

That'd make a Jets>Leafs playoff series even sweeter.

So I take it Billy Talent are Laffs fans then ? If so, I feel so bad for them

They're from the Toronto area, and made their name in Toronto, so I'd assume so...

I am royally pissed off at Superstore.

I finished school in 2011 and got my form changed to take the right amount of tax off that year, and then last year I finally got it changed in November after filling out the tax form TWO TIMES to change it. I now owe almost a grand in taxes. Is there anything I can do to report them for not changing it?

Yeah, I really don't know much about BT. But since they are fans of the Leaves, it makes me less inclined to listen to their music

Nope. Had the same issue with my company. Thing is i filled it out properly the first time and two years later they changed. Our new payroll person at head office questioned me why it was the way it was. Which is how i discovered it was wrong.

Can't do anything about it. Thousands of dollers in rrsp contributions and daycare payments but i still end up oweing.

Whew. Makes me glad I only had to owe $189 this year. Tell me, if I put money in a TFSA, is it the same as putting it in an RRSP for tax purposes?

I was a Thrasher fan long before Ron was signed there, twas a happy coincidence.

So if he does leave I'll obviously carry the tradition to whatever board it may be, but my ties with this franchise will keep me here as well.

I'll make all you guys feel better....

It's not all bad news, but I changed jobs a while ago and have been undergoing a pension transfer process though it all. Some has been good - I'm getting more pensionable years in and that will help me in the end big time. But in the transfer process I had to take some cash as well and I'll owe an additional $10,000 or so in taxes come the end of April.

On top of that I'll probably have to liquidate some RRSPs and pay tax on that as well because I need the room for the years of pensionable service I bought back. Woe is me but I don't have any RRSP room. So that adds probably another $12,000.

All totaled up I'll likely be paying the feds $22K this April
