Yet, my all-star team that couldn't miss this year are about to be eliminated....already. 2-0 with 1 period to go. Minny is just nto playing together. While Yale is really playing like a team. 1st upset ready to happen.
That's big. Do you think North Dakota would be favored vs Yale? Seems pretty certain ND will beat Niagara. If they can then beat Yale, that means they are in the April 11 semis.

I have to be honest and say that I probably saw Yale play once this year. And it was a 7-4 lost against Dartmouth, wanted to see Walsh play. So wasn't impressed then but it was at the start of the season. And they were shutouts in the last 2 games of their year. But today? They are freakin impressive as far as their defensive play is concerned. Just like I was impressed by Notre-Dame as well. Tough checking defensive game from them. But you do have to think that Minny isn't exactly helping themselves. They are trying to do everything by themselves. Not using a team game. So could ND beat Yale...sure. But it will probably be tougher than anticipated...

Having said that...it is NCAA hockey. A 3rd period is still a long way to go. Minny could easily come back from this.

Nate Schmidt is just a great skater. Really impressive stride....but not the best decisions with the puck today. Laganière is awfully big and skates well for a big man...but didn't show any offensive wisdom so far. Still 2 good projects to work with.

Yale's goalie doing the saves when needed. Minny just missing an ingredient or 2 today. Probably miss David Fischer... PP for Minny coming...

Schmidt just scores on the PP. 2-1 Yale. That's just becoming more interesting now. 11 minutes left.

You are pretty good at this aren't you....

By the way, Agostino is pretty quiet in the 3rd. Feaster sucks again.

I am....with all that talk with him in Detroit, I was expecting he'd sign with...Pittsburgh.

Honestly, the best move is that when you know you doesn't stand a chance, you don't waste your time and show other guys that they ARE your first priorities. Guys like Laganière and Schmidt or others. No need to get in a derby you know you will lose for sure.

Wow...Haula, Wild's prospect, is just a terrific player. Almost scored with 1 minute left. Still 2-2.

Going to OT. Bjugstad with a mediocre game till the 3rd came where he was pretty good.

Agostino with a great pass after a turnover. Back to Feaster is a genius....And if ND wins....they face Yale.

I suck at predictions. But this one had to be the worst of them all. The team I took to win it all, got eliminated in the very 1st game of the tournament. I'm just so great at this....

Door is wide open for North Dakota now. As someone who wants Kristo in the pros ASAP, this is conflicting, lol.

How did Laganiere look? Who would you compare him to NHL-wise?

Not good in the comparison game but honestly, didn't do much offensively. Good skater. Big body, screens well. But nothing more n that game. We'll see in the 2nd round.

0-1 in my NCAA prediction....0-2 coming out slowly but surely as Lowell leads Wisconsin 2-0 in the 2nd. Told you all to totally go against me...you would have made some money.

Univ of Minnesota UFA D Nate Schmidt is now available to NHL teams after Gophers were eliminated by Yale today. Considerable interest.

Meszaros' season is over with a torn rotator cuff and Coburn is out indefinitely with a shoulder separation.

I swear to god, if the Flyers get one of the big 4 in the draft.........

They will. I could see them even moving up to take Jones.

Report by @PatrickCaisse says #Habs were considered by DeKeyser and agent Don Meehan right up till the end. #GoHabsGo #CH

Shame, but it's fun to know that he was strongly considering coming here.
