Mario Lemieux was one of the best skaters in the NHL in his prime...quite an accomplishment for a guy who's 6'4.

The entire Minnesota Wild team Heheh

Forwards:
Brent Burns (6'4")

Defense:
Alex Henry (6'5")
Willie Mitchell (6'3")

We also got some big guys coming through that have pretty good speed. Most of the team is built around speed.

For a big guy I always thought Bobby Holik had a decent set of wheels.

For retired guys how about Stephane Richer, 6'2 220 pounds and he could really fly.

i wouldn't call Jovanovski big. he's only 210 lbs and skinny as a pole. but he is as fast as hell though.

Kvasha's skating is just a notch better then Antropov.

He's big... but not a great skater.

Good... yes, but one of the "better" skaters, no.

Admittedly, I can count the number of times I've seen Rick Nash play on one hand, but I must say that the only thing about him that didn't impress me was his skating. He's just not very quick and seems to labor too much to get around. Even if that never improves, it shouldn't hinder him from continuing to be a great young player as he plays a power game, not a dipsy-doodle one.

Nikita Alexeev is the fastest 6'5 guy I've ever seen. Every so often he'll just flat-out catch a dman by surprise and blow right past him for a breakaway. Unbelievable speed.

On defense, Jassen Cullimore doesn't display his skating all that much, but he's very good for 6'5 and 245 pounds.
