Using college stats to evaluate a QB prospect and his strengths/weaknesses. That's pretty hilarious.

That's the Ike Reese argument.

He passed for 5,188 yards and 41 touchdowns in 12 regular season games, and finished the year with 42 NCAA records (and tied for five others). The highpoint of the season was BYU's 28-21 upset victory over the top-ranked Miami Hurricanes; Detmer led the Cougars by passing for 406 yards and three touchdowns against the defending national champions. For his efforts, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy, and received many other honors including the Maxwell Award and the Davey O'Brien Award.
This of course is the legendary Ty Detmer.

Geathers is massive. 6'7" 325. Him being listed at DE is sort of a surprise, but I suppose in a 3-4 it's possible.

Apparently nobody has liked him very much. He's been let go by 4 teams since 2010 and he's only played about 6 or 7 games.

I wish I was a backup NFL QB to a guy like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. Best job in the entire world. Basically getting paid millions to have the best seats in the stadium.

Oh hey, Oregon is facing possible major rule violation sanctions. Another example of a coach jumping ship before the school is slaughtered.

I honestly thought this when Chip was originally rumored to be looking at the NFL but then stayed put, only to sign with the Eagles later. I think he found out after wanting to stay at Oregon and then jumped ship.

Honestly, those coaches should still be held accountable even if they are no longer employed by the university.

Based on this article (http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/inde...cks_commi.html) I'm not entirely sure that this is so horrific an incident. To quote the NCAA from the article:

"...the violations result from the receipt of the oral reports and the fact that CSS did not disseminate the quarterly reports as required by the legislation."

Really? So they got oral reports instead of written ones, and then paid the scouting service to get them written ones when they realized they had screwed up. And that's a "major" violation? Strikes me as more idiotic and asinine NCAA regs than anything else.

Eagles open MNF, and play Andy Reid Week 3 on NFL Network, then it's all day games.

They need a nose tackle in the worst way to run a 3-4.

Star LOLLLERZ I'm looking at you.

As long as Geno or Star aren't the pick at #4, I'm ok. There were some rumors about the Eagles liking Mingo (who I've wanted for a long time). I wouldn't necessarily take him at #4, but if you can swap with a team like Arizona at #7 and pick up an extra 2 or 3, I would like that scenario. Now the Eagles have been linked to just about every top 10 pick possible, so I'm not reading too much into it. At this point I'm expecting the unexpected.

I feel its too high for a LB. If we trade down I would be better with it.

Fisher is most likely to go to the Jags at #2.

Were either looking at Dion Jordan Or Star L at the #4 pick, unless we trade down.

Don't trust anything, but one smokescreen going up right now is that the Eagles want to trade back.
