I was at Central City today and saw Kesler. Still in an air boot and with crutches...not looking good.

In your opinion, would he have made the difference in a lineup that was pretty much broken to begin with? And by broken I don't mean stacked.

Canucks probably being extra cautious about kes. Get him ready for the last 4-5 games before the playoffs.

I'm worried about Kes in a boot. There's literally no reason to rush him. None. Keep him in the damn boot until it's 100% healed. This isn't a weird injury, it's a fracture. It's fairly straightforward.

AV said it was nothing? Ballard likely needed his foot amputated.

Looking at the Canucks' twitter, it says that Kesler is due to have a CT soon. As someone who knows next to nothing on injuries, is this just a check-in or is it indicative that they need to find out why it's not healing?

Fractures are tricky.
In some places, x-rays can reveal nothing.
Thus, a CT scan is necessary to see rather or not if there is a break or not.
I had one done when I fell on my wrist, after the x-ray came back inconclusive.

Having said that...
In this case, it might mean the doctors might be a little concern and want a better look.
It really depends on the doctor...
But most doctors would not recommend unnecessary CT scans for no reasons at all.

Regardless...
We will know latter.

It's also very likely that they want to make entirely certain that the fracture is completely gone, considering they caught it on a CT in the first place.

Agreed.
It could go both ways right now.
