You sure he's playing center? In the video he doesn't take any of the faceoffs, and looks to be the first guy in on the forecheck alot. Seems like a 4th line wing type if anything.

This is exactly why ufa college players should not go to a team where friends were drafted, etc.

Burrows wasn't even good enough to be a Burrows caliber at that age. Sustr is a defenseman who signed with Tampa, Lain is a a big body who'll be lucky to carve out a career as a regular on someone's 4th line, but Lagainiere could be a solid bottom 6 player.

Scouting reports are hilarious. They made him sound like Rick Nash there.

Are you sure the guy writing that report wasn't describing Sidney Crosby?

Thought he looked like Marcus Foligno. Nice combination of size, strength and some skill.

Does this ever work? I think your prospect basically has to be best friends with the free agent player in order for this to work. It's not like teammates don't ever hate each other. For all we know, Laganiere and Agostino can't stand each other.

Not happening, there was interview yesterday and he stated that Habs are not in the mix. It was a french media outlet.

Scouting report is something out of the Hall of Fame.

Would love to have him on the Canucks but come on, that scouting report is Crosby-esque. Ridiculous.

Based on the scouting report, it doesn't seem like he has any weaknesses.

Would be a nice addition to the Canucks.

You're only saying that because he's hopeless in the defensive zone. After seeing how futile he was at trying get a puck past a pinching defenseman against Colorado, I can see why Washington gave up on him.

Naturally, probably no interest in coming to Anaheim. Not even getting my hopes up a little bit.

I think his potential is a Jarret Stoll/Zack Smith type of player...

I would like to see him to land in Pittsburgh. We need forward prospects, badly

That scouting report makes him seem like Rick Nash.

I think he will likely be a good 3rd liner, maybe upside to be a tweener type of guy.

Not sure who I would compare him too though.

Much better hands than any of those mentioned...
