Yeah. A lot of good prospects aren't. It's because there are a lot of good prospects out there.

What's up with all the Habs fans hating on Zibanejad? You guys have a stud with Galchenyuk, no need to be jealous over Zibby.

Agreed...... Zibanejab have been fantastic so far for the Sens this year, they need to watch him before making comment like this, to me Mika should be ranked around 15th and Silfverberg even higher!!!! IMHO the Sens have 3 top 20 prospect in the NHL.

why do they include current full time NHLers in their "prospect" list. Once you cross the threshold to fulltime NHLer you are no longer a prospect IMO.

6. Yevgeni Kuznetsov, RW Washington Capitals
Height: 6-0 Weight: 175, Fall Ranking 6

The Capitals first round pick from 2010 continues to be one of the KHL's top players. His 2012-13 year nearly mimicked his previous season with Traktor as he repeated his 19-goal performance and increased his overall scoring performance from 41 to 44 points. It seems like Kuznetsov has been a top prospect for years, but he will just turn 21 years old this spring. The Capitals are still holding out hope that Kuznetsov comes to the NHL, where he would easily be a top-six forward and could immediately be on a scoring line. There has been speculation that he could come to North America after the 2014 Winter Olympics that will be held in Russia. Kuznetsov is still an elite prospect and could be a very special player in the NHL.
Bravo Hockeys Future. Genius.

HE ****ING SAID SO. No speculation. He said so himself.

The love for Brodin is getting ridiculous. He was ranked too low, but #1? His upside isn't as great as may of he prospects in front of him.

Kuznetsov is 6-3 I think. Kuznetsov might be the best offensive player on the list. Speed combined with size and skill.

Trust me, a lot of people out there think act like he'll never come over. I had a trade in my keeper league vetoed (Kuznetsov+JT miller for Lucic) because the consensus was Kuznetsov is too risky.

I love how this has turned into a giant pissing contest between Eastern Conf teams. Keep getting real mad your beloved prospects aren't crapping out points left and right, pals.

if it means for the seasaon 14/15 then its most likely. and what is that still elite prospect? i didnt know he plays in the league tormented by plague where the prospects come to die. and tarasenko is ahead of him? i dont think so

1 year younger, no PP time while most Habs fans think he should get some (personally I would play him on the first PP wave but its just me).. about all his points comes from even strength play.. For some reasons, the plan was to play him about 12-15 min per game this year bringing him slowly reducing his responsabilities and having less pressure on the shoulders.. Well he is progressing as expected, he plays very well without the puck and gets more and more confortable with the puck..

Surprised there have been no "Hamilton way too high LOL" comments, honestly.

Hamilton is right where he should be, best defense prospect in the world (except Seth Jones likely). Wouldn't have been too upset if they put Yakupov ahead of him because of draft pedigree though.

For the record I have no hate for Zibanejad... Just don't understand people who actually watch him call him a powerforward because he's slightly over 2 hits per game. He's not physically imposing enough to be referred to as such and I don't know if he'll ever develop into that type of player - I'd doubt it, because he doesn't seem to have that in his blood. I've watched at least 20 sens games this year, I like the kid, I think he's got a good all around game and plays gritty. But like I said, I compare him to Eller in terms of physical game - Finishes his checks, strong on the boards, but not a true powerforward.
