well that hurts.

up 2-0, down 2-3, then you lead 5-3 at home with like 10 minutes left and you have a double minor PP coming up...

what happens next is:
you do nothing on the long PP, one great shot by Morozov, followed by one big turnover by Chistov, glorious post by AK in OT, crossbar by Kuznetsov, and a blunder by your G to finish it off.

Ouch.

Bye bye, Traktor! Dumbest playoff performance I've seen in a while... losing a two goal lead twice completely and wasting multiple scoring chances, including hitting the post several times...

hmm instead of bashing Traktor I would really give a lot of credit to Ak Bars. They are so resilient. They don't seem to ever give up and nothing knocks them out of the game. That's experience for ya.

This result is not a huge surprise, with all that experience on Bars and the youth on Traktor it makes sense.

Homies will be homies but still. He was scratched for a reason. Our management is good enough to put together a team that leads the semifinals series 3-1. And Darzins can't do a thing when under pressure. The goal he scored was on a total defensive blunder by Traktor. Yes, he can shoot when he's all alone.

Usually I would say you are right but today the only reason for the Ak Bars win was the lack of concentration by Traktor! If they had used their double minor when they were 5-3 in front, the game would have been over for sure! After the 4th Kazan goal Traktor looked so terrible and they could almost celebrate to have made it to overtime!

And if you have so many good scoring opportunities (5-6) in overtime and you use none of them, it's clear that your opponent will use that at some point. Again the lack of efficiency by Traktor was decisive, not the will of Ak Bars.

Yeah that reason was probably scoring 2 GWG goals, yep cant have that kind of players on the roster.

Dont know how Darzins, but Petruzalek missed two games. Because did not work hard according to Znaroks. When he came back, he had A. Btw, he (and Sopin) was a reason why Dynamo eliminated Slovan in QF.

Please just realize there is a difference between Dinamo Riga and AkBars rosters.

P.S. GWG against NHK. I do respect that team, but there is a reason why they were swept, i.e. why against them Darzins was the GWG scorer. In the series against Salavat where Salavat has put on a ton of physicality and pressure it was the most logical decision to sit a player like Darzins.

Znarok just once again proves that bold decicions are key to building a team. Petruzalek has got the message obviously.

Thats BS Darzins has enough skill and toughness to do well against a team like salavat,it`s the fault of the stupid managment of Ak Bars not fault of Darzins.

If he has why wouldn't he show it? He got scratched not because he was demonstating that skill and toughness, you know?

Dynamo have missed insane amount of chances in first 30 minutes. Doesn't look typical of the, because they usually score three goals on two shots

With all the money to throw around, SKA has to play Pervyshin on their 1st PP unit? That's just sad.

Doesn't matter who they put out on PP as long as Dallman is out there as well.

Not really. As it is right now Dinamo can almost play man on man with Dallman as Pervyshin isn't much of a threat from the blue line at all.

Tell it to MMg. I think Pervyshin set a record on goals in OT from the blue line. In AkBars he also scored a lot of goals when they won the Cup.

Dynamo was a lot better through most of the game but couldn't score, then at the end SKA somehow kept on rolling and putting pressure offensively, very exciting. Great game!
