WRONG!

Red Lite dominated the Hurricane Oilers to win easily 4-1 but the Black Knights were completely outplayed and Midnight Express controlled the whole game to win 4-0.

The dream final was all ruined thanks to Tony, the coach of the Black Knights. He keeps playing the same guys over and over, and they dont do nething while he has players riding the bench who would get the job done.
He got what he deserved. Im very happy the Knights lost, although i feel bad for my friend.

so.. RED LITE vs Midnight Express for the Gold

GO RED LITE GO!

interesting stat.. including this season, in the last 11 national championships, the only 2 teams to win are Red Lite and Midnight Express.

1996 - 2000 - Midnight Express
2001 - 2005 - Red Lite
2006 - ??

Sloppy game. The Toronto goalie gave it away in the second half and that was a dumb penalty to give Red Lite the winner. Also, a Toronto goal was disallowed early in the game. Sloppy game by both teams I thought, but Red Lite did look like the better team anyway.

6 time defending champs... really didnt deserve tho. they didnt play red lite hockey. they played midnight's game. burrows was invisible except for one shift.

the 3 midnight goals sucked and red lite got lucky to tie the game. what a gift that was.

never the less...congrats to them, 6 times in a row, thats amazing, some ppl dream to win just 1.

...now, back to my bbq and my beer drinking, im already wasted... i have some red lite players over.

Your right, bad mistake by the goalie and also a very tough call on that goal.I was on that side and I though it went in,but the ref said no.Also the penalty, what the hell,it remind me of Peter Popovic when he did the same thing

im not sure, i dont think that ball went in, it sounded like iron to me.
The penalty...OHHH the penalty..what an idiot. If I played for Midnight Express I would totally blame that guy for the loss. Ur playing in the finals of the national championship against the 5 time defending champs, who just so happen to be the best team in the world with the deadliest powerplay and you do something stupid like that with 4:01 left.

I told everyone around me (on the gallerie de presse), guarenteed goal...it took them 40 seconds on the PP to get the championship winning goal.

Don't forget MIdnight Express hitting the crossbar with 30 seconds left. It went off the goalie's glove and then the crossbar. I was standing behind the net. There was some dispute amongst the people up there whether it hit the bar or not, but I thought it did and so did a couple other people. Off the glove and then the bar. It was a great save actually.

Thanks, I thought so too, but I was second-guessing myself. It happened so fast.
