Gagner you're spot on, but Dubnyk was praised as 'the guy who'll break out' during the offseason, and so far this season he's been a scapegoat for team losses.

Weight and Guerin seemed to like it too.

I think if they managed to keep Wang away from the team they could really turn things around long term. Snow doesn't even seem to be that bad of a GM.

Great location, great players. A strong leader in JT. Good role players. A good group of prospects.

I don't pay attention enough to their coaching to tell if it's good or not, but they don't seem to be missing many ingredients for long term success.

That division is rough though with four really strong organizations. Devs, Philly, Pitt and NYR. Murderers row. Maybe the realignment will help.

Iginla makes his debut with the Pens in an hour. Crosby is so good that he doesn't even need Iggy who starts on Malkin's line haha.
Crosby-Iginla, Malkin-Neal?
No, Neal-Malkin-Iginla.

Here's hoping for a too many cookes in the kitchen type scenario in Pittsburgh.

Yeah think I will be taking a study break to check out the first period. Not often you get to see these types of moments in hockey. Really glad Ottawa stayed in it this year so we didn't have to see Alfie in the same situation.

No pressure in a big market. Who wouldn't like that?

Looks like Crosby might need to throw on a cage for a while.

Crosby takes a puck to the face early on against the Islanders

Martin out for six weeks

Things could be looking bad for the Penguins

EDIT: will not return to the game. Oh wow, karma for screwing the Bruins?

Iggy should be the one injured if it's karma. He's the one who chose Pittsburgh over the Bruins soo.. Karma is drunk probably..

Screwing the Bruins? Nobody screwed the Bruins, that's just called "Feaster is an awful GM."

Brutal board by Kunitz on Bailey. That should be a suspension.

EDIT: they gave him a major so maybe not but it was about on par with Kaleta.

I think there is a huge difference between a shoulder to shoulder hit, and a crosscheck. 5 minute major was well deserved though.

We can level the Bruins on points today, albeit having played two more games.

Awww man!

The Swat Katz avatar is gone?!

OT: Buffalo trades Leopold for draft picks: does this mean they go for the rebuild in Buffalo? Should hopefully make our next game against them a bit easier. It would be ridiculous if we got home ice for the playoffs!

I think you mean there is a huge difference between a Penguin making a bad hit and a Sabre making a bad hit.

You guys are going to call me biased again (which doesn't even make any sense), but look at the posts on the main board.... 90% of the people are on the same page.

P.S. 4 PPs for the lowly Islanders (including 5 min major and 2 min 5 on 3) compared to 2 for Pittsburgh. Last game, 4 PPs for Winnipeg, and none for Pittsburgh. Looks like I was right...
