Hawks PP goal ties it up at 1 in the 3rd period.

Wild and Stars are tied at 2 after 2.

Wouldn't be surprised to see both games end up as 3 point games.

Still shocking that the Kings haven't been in OT in 29 straight games. Unheard of in the "new" NHL.

Ducks win in regulation.

Stars now up 5-2 over the wild with 6 minutes left. Kings next two opponents.

I really want to win the season series against the Stars. I hope we can solve them.

... aaaaaaand therefore his statement that the Sharks choke in the playoffs is accurate.

I wouldn't call making the conference finals a choke.
They are 13-15 and we are 15-25 series records.

Silly goalie win rules at work:

Stats: Since Bachman was in net for Benn's gwg, despite no saves in 2:32 of work, he gets win. Kari's 30 saves? Whatever. #blamesudsy #lol

Of course no one would call getting there a joke. You can't choke unless you get there.

I would call getting there three times and losing each time a choke.

Anybody else watches PIT vs NYI?
The Isles dominating in the board battles. None of Neal, Malkin, Iginla work really hard in the dirty areas thus far...
If we get a Mitchell replacement I still like our chances vs. almost every team (Not sure about Bruins and Blackhawks) in the league in a playoff series.

Iginla' first game and Crosby gets hit in the face with a shot early in the 1st and has yet to return as the 2nd period winds down.

Kunitz with 5 minute major and game misconduct.

Are the hockey gods trying to tell the Penguins something?

I don't think the Morrow or Iginla acquisitions will put them "over the top". They may have been good enough to get it done without them.

They are probably the worst in the NHL, right down there with Ahlers and Hayward (offense intended).

I've always wanted to ask a Ducks fan if they even like Hayward and Ahlers.

Good thing GCL lets you choose what feed you want to watch. Can't stand the pens announcers. And you get Butch Goring on the Islanders feed!

I'm quite familiar with the Penguins announcers and nothing compared to the mind numbing awfulness that is the Coyotes announcers. Listening to them the last Kings game made my ears bleed.

I've come to hate the clowns in SJ Drew and Remenda even more than Ahlers and Hayward. Never thought that would be possible.

I work with a Ducks fan (several actually) and he hates Hayward. He sees him all the time at restaurants in the area and struggles not to say something to him.

I like our team against any team in the league. It's like Darren Pang said during the Blues game. The Kings will be very hard to beat in a 7 game series as they keep hitting and hitting. They find their targets and keep hitting until they wear them down. Over a 7 game series that takes a huge tole.

Teams have gone on lengthy losing streaks after playing the Kings.

Like you, I get stuck with whatever feed is on Center ice and The dimwits that do the coyotes broadcast are about 1 step beloiw where broadcasters qualify.

Sound down, put the Darryl and Nick on the radio thru the cmputer. Much better

I'll say the out of town announcers that I think call a very even, objective game are the guys from the Dallas Stars.

The Dallas Stars guys are awesome.

They even crack jokes at the Stars when they aren't playing well.
