Still not in a great spot, but assuming the islanders/rangers lose

Were only 4 points out. Now, considering how this team has played, thats obviously a huge mountain to conquer, but if we can play like we did today, there is a chance
Not so fast my friend. We just beat a team that's been playing like **** lately. I need to see more from this team.

Dude, relax. He's making fun of Jack Edwards, who said it at least 5000 times during the B's telecast.

He did it plenty against the Flyers. Think it's partly why he was signed.

Cannot believe that despite how bad we've been, we're only 4 points out of the Playoffs. Now nearer to the Playoffs than we are to Florida. Just saying. If they'd only won those OT games against the Pens and the Isles.

I read the other year that Lindros had the best 'fight win' percentage of any NHL player with over 30 fights... can't really remember him ever losing tbh.

Persuade Ricky Gervais to be a flyer and you're home free.

Yeah one day I had off from school/work and had nothing else to do so I was looking up some of his old fight videos. I can't really say there's one fight where you can say he clearly lost. Maybe Mcsorley but Lindros was a rookie and did pretty well against one of the top guys at that time.

Flyers had an impressive game with the draws and held Bergeron and Krejci to just 9 wins in 30 chances.

Rinaldo had 12 hits which ties a team high (he had 12 against Winnipeg) for this season.

I posted parts of it earlier elsewhere but I'll try to recapture it.

Try these, the bottom one is more detailed:

Snider didn’t mince his words about how utterly disappointed he is with the product on the ice and vowed there would be changes this offseason.

He gave general manager Paul Holmgren a vote of confidence, but when asked about coach Peter Laviolette, he deferred to Holmgren.

“I don't want to talk about anything about when the season ends, who's safe and who isn't safe,” Snider replied. “These are decisions Paul Holmgren is going to have to make, not me.”

Said Holmgren: “I don’t even think about that stuff. After the season, everything gets evaluated and we go from there. Our coaches -- nobody is happy with the position we are in. … It’s difficult to talk about right now. I think the coaches do a good job.”

Snider said when the lockout ended he thought this squad was a playoff team capable of a high seed.

“We came into the season with high expectations, and it just seems like everything that could go wrong has gone wrong,” Snider said. “But the good teams overcome that and we've got to find a way to regroup, and I guarantee you we'll be a heck of a lot better.”

PHILADELPHIA - Just after pulling the cover off a piece of the precious past today, Flyers chairman Ed Snider painfully pondered the present state of his team.

Snider's initial reaction to a season that is all but mathematically over and soon to be forgotten about is that his general manager, Paul Holmgren, will have every chance to change that in the offseason.

As is often the case, Snider said he plans to meet with his management team at season's end to evaluate the club from top to bottom. This year's meeting promises to have a bit of sharper edge to it.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren made a trade on Saturday to add a veteran defenseman. After the first period of the Flyers-Bruins game, Holmgren discussed his move, the upcoming trade deadline and comments made earlier Saturday by team chairman Ed Snider, who says Holmgren’s job is safe and everything else will be evaluated after the season. Here’s what Holmgren had to say:

Flyers chairman Ed Snider attended a ceremony Saturday morning in which a Broad Street Bullies statue was unveiled across the parking lot from Wells Fargo Center outside XFinity Live. Afterward, Snider talked to reporters about the Flyers’ down season, general manager Paul Holmgren and head coach Peter Laviolette’s job security, the Ilya Bryzgalov signing and more. Here is his interview:

I respect the guy for all he's done for this team and city but he's really turning into the Jerry Jones of the NHL.

I would also say Mcsorley was a loss.. and I vaguely remember him not doing really well against Rich Pilon.
