but if Lundqvist plays like he did last season, I don't know if Weekes will be around at the end of the season. Other factors may come into play, but I can see several scenarios in which he'd be moved.

So do I Fletch. A lot will depend though on Montoya. If he plays real well in Hartford and the Rangers think he's ready enough during the season there'd be no point hanging on to Weekes past the trade deadline. You dump UFA bound players that you don't expect back when the opportunity arises. A lot depends on Montoya and to be honest I want to see Montoya make it sometime this year. Either way this should be the last year we mess around with a more expensive vet for a backup.

Belfour is in Florida. The Leafs are hoping that Raycroft can rediscover his Calder form. If not, they have two questionable #2s in Tellqvist and Aubin.
