How did Lauridsen do? I wasn't able to watch the game unfortunately. Thanks!

Very well. Aside from the minor penalty on the first shift, he seemed to adjust casually and was very well-positioned. Blocked shots, had a couple or so hits. Nice debut. He was even called "terrific" by one of the beat scribes.

We're only 4 points out of a playoffs spot? This is insane considering how bad we've been.

They're talking Flyers on 97.5 right now. Some guy just called in calling Carcillo "Brian Carcillo" and said we missed his presence on the blue line.

Orpik doing something I've sometimes dreamt about. What's going on today? In all seriousness, I'm curious if some consussion related test will be done - I'm not sure if I make sense (haha) but considering how Pronger was affected by post-consussion hit to the eye, examining Crosby after a hit by the puck to the head could be considered.

amazing how this team looks when they hustle the whole game, and with very few exceptions, play solid D

I don't think it was about hustle. They scored on the PP, banged in another one from Read, and Bryzgalov won the game for them.

it just didn't seem [to me] like BOS was dominating them & winning every puck battle ..... to me, hustle wins puck battles.

i think it was a good team win

One of the few times I agree with you, but yes. This was a complete team effort from top to bottom.

That's a bit harsh. The Cowboys have won one playoff game in the past 15 years.

Yea and if we win our games the isles we are right there.

Snieder comments on post game live says pronger is missed and that's a underrated blow. We are going to be active this summer and improve this team. Our D is a problem and he knows that. He saw that we have trouble against teams like jersey that have a system was going to address that at training camp but there was none. Interesting. Seems like he gets it. Also says bryz is not the problem. Homers show he says.

I will say, with Coburn out, we definitely didn't have as many penalties or turnovers... just something I noticed.

Al Davis? Does that work better? I want to win a cup just as much as he does but (with the constant shake ups with teams that come from his demands) at this point he's holding us back IMO.

I think we all know this team with confidence can win 5 straight. The schedule looks ok for the next 4. If we win 5 in a row we will be in the playoffs.

Nobody on the Flyers did anything dirty in the game right? When you read the Bruins board you would think that Schenn try to run and intentionally injure Krejci several times, Giroux played dirty against Bergeron, Luke Schenn was chicken ****, Rinaldo was running after guys, but the whole Flyers team is chicken ****.

Wtf....

You would think with the way the Bruins play they would be a fan-base that likes tough hockey.

I have no idea. I thought both teams were pretty tame for the most part today.

Bruins better toughen up. Only way they are going to beat the pens.

I will say that Schenn actually scares me. Last year he seemed like a solid two way player. Now his puck handling seems iffy at best, and he definitely flirts with the stupid hits (charging penalties, interference). The hits looks OK IMO, but he is walking a fine line, kind of like Rinaldo used too.
