I have no doubt AK probably partied too much in Montreal, but so did most of that team, and a lot of the hysteria was exaggerated. The stories suddenly disappeared soon after that narrative ran its course.
Even if I admit the Kostitsyn stories in Montreal were way overblown, what happened in Nashville was serious enough to scare all 30 teams away from him this summer. Same with Radulov, who couldn't get traded anywhere.

Didnt Grabo have trouble after he left Montreal as a Leaf?

Radulov has a serious attitude problem, I don't think anyone besides Remparts fans would defend him beyond the fact that he's very talented and could potentially be worth the risk. He's been running into problems in the KHL now because of his attitude.

But we don't know that Radulov wasn't wanted by any NHL team, it's more likely he wanted to do things on his own terms and as soon as a Russian team offered him big money, he lost interest in the NHL.

Dylan Richardson and his wife Brenna allege in the suit they were assaulted by Grabovski in a brawl in Vancouver during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

In the B.C. Supreme Court suit, filed Sept. 14, the Richardsons lay out a long list of injuries to Dylan.

The suit claimed Dylan Richardson, an autobody finishing technician in nearby Langley, B.C., was in downtown Vancouver on Feb. 20 when Grabovski punched him in the face.

Richardson lost consciousness and fell to the ground, the suit alleged.

"Immediately after striking the plaintiff Dylan Richardson with the intent to further humiliate and denigrate (him), the defendant assaulted and committed a battery on the plaintiff Brenna Richardson by punching (her) in the face," the court document said....

I remember reading in the Canadiens magazine that the players voted for Kostitsyn as the most well-liked guy in the room or something like that.

Watching the Avalanche game I can't think of any reason not to bring back Ryan O'Byrne for the stretch drive. Big RH D who can play at this level. (He has finally developed)!

Carbonneau couldn't get the best out of him
Gainey couldn't get the best out of him
Martin couldn't get the best out of him
Cunneyworth couldn't get the best out of him
Trotz couldn't get the best out of him

At this point, it might be wiser to just admit that, after all, Kostitsyn just can't get the best out of himself.

Sure didn't help him enough for having any GM consider him this past summer.

Actually, skill wise, I think he did

Edit: Didn't the Panthers actually want to get Kostitsyn but he refused to come back in North America for this season?

Seriously

What the **** is the obsession with bringing back ROB ? The Avs can't wait to get rid of this guy.

Dude has size but is a freakin pylon. He had a decent stretch with the Avs right after he was traded but it didn't last and now he's not very good.

No thanks
