And, now for the rest of the story.. Or, maybe the whole story. I know you're not a journalist GarbageGoal. But, who, what, when, where and why. Bruins won 3-2, Spooner, Cunningham and Mink scored. Svedberg played well. 10 min of PK.

Hey, it's a three hour drive from Portland, give me a break.

Well, that may be his issue. He's not the best skater in the world, but he gives the impression he's smooth enough. Economy of motion I guess you would call it. He's also clearly not offensively adept.

Those of you who follow the baby B's already know this but if anyone else cares
http://theahl.com/stats/statdisplay....ason=&confId=0

They have the best point% in the East and 2nd best in the league. Pretty good compared to how bad they have been the last few years.

Spooner out with upper body and Koko taking over the spot. Does Ryan know who Wally Pipp is?

I wonder if there are any scouts watching Providence and specifically Koko. He's obviously on the trading block.

Gotta give him credit where credit is due. I didn't think he had it in him with the job he did last year.

I posed the question quite often asking if Cassidy was the problem as it "appeared" from my couch thousands of miles away that the development of players wasn`t happening. I certainly wasn`t saying fire him as I have never seen the PB`s play ever, let alone under Cassidy other than on TV which rarely tells the whole story.

But like I said, up to this year, which started slowly, from this distance, I was worried about players who, from the POV of many here (maybe that was my mistake listening/reading that) the team looked lost

Glad to see/hear/read the boys are playing well, prospects seem to be developing etc...

Has Koko spoke since the March 27th debacle? I wonder how he feels about it.

Not really Kegs, I asked way back when, and other than 1 poster who PM`d me, I barely received an answer to my question which was something to the effect of "is Cassidy the right coach"?

And at that time, I believe it was valid and I feel the same now, for at that time, I hadn`t seen a ton of results which are usually measured in tangible improvement of prospects. Having never seen a PB game, I was asking those who had if he has the ability to teach, don`t care about W/L at that level, I care about players getting better, and at that time, I had seen not one "prospect" who was making marked improvement nor did I see/read or hear from any fans here telling me otherwise.

Now, time has passed, he clearly has a team who`s skill is the strongest since he took over but I don`t believe my question wasn`t fair.

I question those here who when I posed the question never answered me. It`s not wrong to want to see kids develop, and I hadn`t seen much of it at that time, glad it`s happening now, and since it appears prospects are developing, NOT because the teams winning, you haven`t seen me ask this question.

He better get used to it if he stays over here and plays in the NHL.

In other news Providence getting scoring from Hanson and Robins last night. Who said all they can do is drop em and give the top lines a rest

There was a quote from his agent saying he was excited at the chance for an NHL debut with Calgary. He just wants to play in the NHL and doesn't really care what team it is. Odds are he gets moved in another trade.

Khokhlachev was never told though, the Bruins NEVER informed him, he was a scratch but the entire time the Boston Bruins never confirmed he had been involved in this deal. He could have thought or his agent could have told him but he never got word from Chiarelli

I think per some rule he is not able to be called up unless there are like 10 injuries.

No he can come up. But it would burn a year of his elc & he would start counting against the 50 contract limit

There was a eligable Junior list the teams had to put together before the season if there was going to be a season durring the lockout fiasco, he was not on the list.
