That was painful to watch. I hope they come out in the 2nd fired up.

I was thinking the same thing. They kept passing for the first 30 seconds of it in the neutral and defensive zones. I have a feeling Ovechkin will get a goal soon though.

Hillen-Carlson was particularly abysmal that period.

Yeah, I think so too. He's been aggressive. Fingers crossed!

Hillen was a good interview. And for sure, they need to shoot more on PP. They ----ed around far too long on that one. There was one good chance for 8, and the rest was hugely unimpressive.

You know what would be nice? Orlov on the PP.

Ovechkin to Orlov for one timers... Oh yeah and no more Carlson and Green looking over at the defenders and telling them they are going to pass to Ovechkin for a one timer, that would be nice too.

CSN coverage, shows NCAA bracket, but doesn't point out the fact Miami has Riley Barber.

Showing they learned absolutely nothing from the blown double minor the Pens killed, which turned the momentum of the game and led to the GWG for Pittsburgh. In fact, the Caps almost gave up another odd-man goal following THIS blown PP.

Sabres are playing like a team that has nothing to lose. If they somehow win enough games, maybe they make the playoffs. If they play hard before the deadline, maybe they get lucky as individuals and get traded to a real contender.
