I just noticed that Jagr got his 1000th assist. It's crazy to think that if he didn't go to the KHL for three years, that he would have most likely been 2nd on the all time points list. Even had an outside chance at 2000pts. What a heck of a player, how much longer is this guy going to play?
caps come back from 3-1 down in the 3rd to tie it 3-3...... Remember they seemed to do this every game last year down the stretch. jets take note they allow you to come back in the 3rd once in a while....seems like Boston was a one off event for us.
Hard to feel any optimism tonight with our 2 SE rivlas winning and us losing. I am packing to go to Vegas for 3 days with my wife and without the kids (for once) and I am feeling like crap. Good news is I was busy today and missed the game which is a bonus.

@mc79hockey Is Kadri the Jordan Eberle of the 2012-13 season?
made me laugh
Kadri's been good (just like Eberle was) but man-oh-man is he making their expectations too high with him over performing
he's not over performing, he deserves all the credit he's getting. He worked his ass off in the AHL and developed properly and now he's a total player in all zones. Expectations should go up but that is a good thing. The comparison to Eberle is legit. All the Oilers young guys get praise for being flashy and skillful but so is Kadri and there is no doubt Kadri is a lot better in the neutral zone and the D-zone then any of them and it's not even close. Kadri is a +20 so far this year.
