I really like our Goaltending depth and Button's comments about how things changed when we traded our 2nd to Colorado were interesting. I wonder who the Flames were targeting with the first before the Tanguay trade. Not that it really matters as Button said “goaltending isn't important unless you don't have it”. I also really commend the Flames bringing in a powerskating coach, this will really bring in some speed into the Flames line-up in the coming years. Not to mention they'll be probably be alot stronger on their skates aswell and will maybe be more nhl ready. The Jimmy Spratt who eats no fat line was good. Thanks Peddle , great interview.

There is a lot of depth in goal. I liked that Deadmarsh referral when he was talking about Chucko. It was surprising since he hasn't scored that well at this point. It was also good to hear his mention of Chucko being better suited to the pro game. He doesn't hold much stock in the prospects camp though. September can't come fast enough.

The fact that Sutter will have more time to dedicate to the scouting side of things, is exciting news. The guy has a phenonemal eye for talent. Any time you add input from a guy like that, will help the drafting. Just imagine, the scouting will be getting better here.
