For my fellow HFp-hop heads

Stream Tyler, the Creator's new album

Production sounds like Pharrell, which is a good thing.

Today in random thoughts....

I had a dream right before I woke up that I was kissing someone I knew. A co-worker. And I swear, it was one of those really, really lucid dreams, that 8 hours later, I SWEAR it felt real. Keep in mind that a) in real life I have no interest in this person and b) she's married anyways, so even if I did, it's never something I'd act on. Even asked her in my dream "you sure you want to kiss me, you're married!"

There's a whole subculture of folks who work at having as many lucid dreams as possible. I guess there's even some sort of supplement that you can take that helps promote it to a point. It'd be awesome if you got on board and we could take a daily vote on scenarios to put yourself into, with you reporting back the following day.

There are some people who have measured control of how/what they dream. My wife got some sort of training in it at one point and manages to guide hers -- she can move from a nightmare or bad dream into something else. She also has a lot of memory of what she dreams.

Ran two miles this afternoon and then swam some laps. Taking a page from Clock's recommended training schedule though, I'm having a rare treat --- some Kettle chips and a beer while I watch the game.

Preach it. I did weights and ran about three miles today, and supplemented that with a beer and a hot pretzel.

Nice. I bumped into a friend who's doing the Cleveland half marathon. He was were I am now last year at this time.

I'm going to modify this training program a bit by having chips and beer but not running at all.

Heh, well feeling guilty I had carrots instead of chips. Also I just finished up hiding entirely too much candy around the house.

I've done the indoor egg hide and the basket building. Working on some plastic eggs with game tokens in them for outside and a breakfast dish for my aunt's brunch tomorrow.

Oh, and trying a new game on the Xbox.

Gorgeous day outside. Can't complain about that.

Then, headed to my friend's house, played a ton of board games that we bought at PAX, and drank a 12 pack of Summer Shandy.

Can't wait for full time spring.

Virtual hockey in the OT thread?

Hmmmm.... clearly the EA NHL game I have for the Xbox is a bit broken. My son and I created a couple of players and then played a full season as the Sabres and Amerks. Sabres just won the Cup (beating the Sedin-lead Canucks) and a statistical anomoly arose that lead to Jaro Spacek (it's an old version of the game) winning the Norris. +/- stats only go to 255 before rolling over to -255. We made a defenseman who was -182 at the end of the season after rolling over (so basically +328) with a ridiculous number of points and the guy didn't win the Norris... Spacek did. I am amused.

And in other weird news, Afinogenov won the Hart. Yes. Afinogenov.

I feel I should point out here that if you are Catholic, per Transubstantiation, you really are drinking blood at mass. Protestants may vary by denomination.

I told a really dirty joke once using transubstantiation as a , shall we say, plot device.

Went over better than I expected to be honest.
