Update: Bjugstad Signed to ELC

With Minnie getting knocked out of the college tournament, Bjugstad is now available to be signed. Get it done, Tallon

I think he still has to announce he is leaving school first, if he is leaving. It seems unlikely that he would want to stay though.

Did he graduate yet? As far as I know he went back to get his degree (which was very very very smart of him not to jump ship to pro's before getting his degree).

If so, then he will come up. If not, don't expect to see him till October.

I was gonna say the same thing. I think he has said previously that he intended to take summer classes to finish up his degree. So I don't anticipate him signing immediately but would expect it during summer time for sure.

Santos has already said he would be personally disappointed if Nick doesn't turn pro but its still his decision. I think the org is still gonna give him time to make that and probably after our rookie camp IMO.

I may be wrong, but isn't he graduating this spring? I thought he was taking summer classes the past three years to make up for his senior year.

the possibilities of signing Bjustad, knight, racine +, doesn't make it hard for our roster cap? Or do we bypass that by PTO contracts? Like we did with megan?

I am bit confused?

Any updates as well?

AHL players don't count against the cap. And like you said they would be amateur tryout contracts anyway.

Wait. What? What did we do with Megan? Is he in San Antonio already? I'm too lazy to look it up.

Megan signed and played his first game for the Rampage the other night. Scored a goal, too.

Oh, thank you friend. That's great to hear about his first game. Another prospect not a lot of people talk about that I think could help us.

During the Buffalo shootout win the other night, the chant at the end was awesome. Everyone saw the replay of Hub's shootout goal. Then, shortly after the video when up, everyone standing and then.. GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! That was the loudest chant of the game (since the playoffs last season, imo).

I'm thinking something like

WE WANT BJUG-STAD

clap clap - clap clap clap

WE WANT BJUG-STAD

That would be so cool. Eh, I can imagine it at least.
