Union scores to make it 5-0

BC comes back and is trying to run the goalie again

S. Whitney, P. Mullane and the goalie Milner are all undrafted FAs I think.

Only saw like 15 mins of the game, but Ghost was the best player on the ice.

His goal was great.

He also gets another year of college trainers too if he goes back. The common misconception is that he's going to suddenly start packing on the pounds due to the college schedule. The AHL schedule is very conducive to developing physically. They don't really play many games during the week. There's plenty of time to train, he'll have professional trainers, a professional regimen, and he won't have to balance schoolwork. Most importantly, he'll have double the games to develop his on-ice game which in the long run is most important.

Gaudreau schools Coburn BTW. His toe drag is unstoppable. Silky mitts that kid has.

Happened with a prior game, too. You have to be a subscriber to a certain cable network and have it verified to watch the game. For some reason, this applies to certain NCAA hockey games this year.

This.

The idea that he'll get smoked is a little misguided as well. He'll have Mathers, Fitzgerald, Eddy, and Lauridsen out there which isn't the best safety net. But, it's enough that he'll never have to worry about someone having his back. And that's assuming McGinn spends next season with the Flyers.

Yeah--it is working now, but Union is down 3-0 in the first.

Quick turnaround for Union after upsetting BC late last night and against the top team.

It has been a long time since the doors to the NCAA hockey champions club have been this wide open entering the Frozen Four.

For the first time since 1958 — and only the second time since the tournament’s inaugural event — the Frozen Four will be made up of four teams all looking for their first national championship.

Yale, Massachusetts-Lowell, St. Cloud State and Quinnipiac earned trips to Pittsburgh for the 2013 Frozen Four by winning NCAA regional championships this weekend.

I don't know how many saw the game but apparently he was issued a major late in regulation.

So with Union's loss, the watch is on to see if we sign Ghost.

Hartzell looks awesome from what I've watched... Has he already been drafted by someone?

It makes me happy that 2 CT schools are in the championship.

But sad that my school (UConn) isn't one of them. Hope Quinnipiac wins.

Former Flyers' player Jim Montgomery -- the guy who coined the name "Legion of Doom" was apparently named head coach at the University of Denver.

That was a dagger of a goal right there. Yale is looking dynamite in this tournament.

3 goals. 3 five hole goals.

Seems to be his weakness.
