I would have like him to take off his helmet so we'd have a real fights. Francophones like to keep their helmet on.

It's a minor detail but he used "French".
He said that he won't be suspended but only because they don't have enough cars in the race... It would be great if he would be suspended and replaced by Carpentier.

I don't know for sure. I read a translation (on RDS.com) and it said francophones. In theory, french canadians are francophones too.
I don't know how good the translation from RDS was though.

This thread - which is not related to hockey anyway - will become very dirty in a very near future and will need a mod intervention to lock it.
As for the "French" in his statement, it is related to Alexandre Tagliani who had a fight with him a couple of weeks ago. Tagliani is a Quebecer as well as of Italian descent. Tagliani was very mad because Tracy - as usual - had made a very dangerous manoeuvre to come back on the race track and cut and hit Tagliani's car in the process, ending Tag's race in the process. Everyone knows that Tracy is a CRAZY, agressive driver.

He's french. Never had any accent. Anyway it's clear Tracy was also refereing to him too or he would not have talked about "french guys". I don't think he have anything agains France people.
