Tidbit... Clowe's favorite team growing up was the Habs... which means he probably grew up despising the bruins.

Rumour is Boston almost has a deal in place with the Sharks for Clowe, however Chia and especially Clode do not want to include Pandolfo in the trade, this is the holdup.

Yep-this team isn't going anywhere without Pandolfo in the line-up.

Can any of these guys play their off wing, because on the Bruins the only left winger who can play right is Caron. Marchand and Lucic stink at playing right side. Not sure if I have seen Paille on the right wing, so maybe he can play right.

But my point I guess, is shouldn't Chia be looking at some right wings, so there are a few more options than Horton?
They have Horton, Seguin, Peverley and Thornton to play right wing. So when fully healthy could see something like this...

Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Clowe-Kelly (Or Soderberg)-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Clowe can be way more usefull on the habs roster, while The Bruins need speed and talent.

I've heard that the Panthers have offered the Bruins their first rounder for Pandolfo and Ferenece and Chia hung up the phone in laughter

I would be fine with Torres if it that's what Chiarelli has to settle on. He's another guy who's good when he's locked in, but also has a tendency to check in and out. Better than Pandolfo and Caron though.

Keeping Their Own

Newsday reports the New York Islanders have at least begun talking contract with defenceman Mark Streit, forward Brad Boyes, and goaltender Evgeni Nabokov, meaning all three players likely won't be traded by the Trade Deadline.

There are perhaps 4 true selling teams right now. Prepare for Boston to get almost nothing, because the prices will be absurd.

If Buffalo and Philly get 1 or 2 points each today, you will lose them as true sellers. The standings are so compact.

Beating Buffalo in regulation today would go a long way towards making them certain to sell.

CLOWE is on the phone with fellow Newfoundlander Michael RYDER who is convincing him to come to Montreal!

Do you really think Buffalo is going to trade the Bruins anything of value?

Not my first choice but the more I read...

The more I think Boston makes a deal with Edmonton; Ryan WHITNEY, Ales HEMSKY and hopefully Magnus PAAJARVI come to Boston. The same return as the IGINLA deal going to Edmonton with CARON included.

LUCIC-KREJCI-HEMSKY
MEACHAND-BERGERON-SEGUIN
PAAJARVI-PEVERLEY-HORTON
PAILLE-CAMPBELL-THORNTON
DAUGAVINS
KELLY (IR)
SODERBERG (wildcard)

CHARA-BOYCHUK
WHITNEY-SEIDENBERG
FERENCE-HAMILTON
JOHNSON
MCQUAID(IR)

RASK
KHODOBIN

Please stop with Whitney, we already got rid of Corvo and don't need another one.

would Chia risk it and try to trade for Heatley? he's got 1 year left @ 7.5 left. Dump Horton next year, and we are ok? What do you think?

Other possibilities: Alfredsson?

They don't need to. The more sellers in the market, the lower the prices for the overall market will be. Getting Buffalo in the market would lower the cost of players from Florida, Colorado, etc etc.

Really need some speed and top 6 scoring. Clowe does not address that. Whitney barf.

I'd love to see Yandle/Alfie.. then the Yeti shows up out of hibernation

WHAT! Im pretty sure thats Tampering... got to call the police. lol.

Nice one btw But thats right, the prices at trade deadline are always higher but that hasnt stopped PC from finding inexpensive gems elsewhere... I have faith. If not during the draft.... We trade up to 4th and get Drouin lol

I'm really frigging sick of people suggesting trades that make ZERO SENSE for the other team. Think before you post.
