I'm really frigging sick of people suggesting trades that make ZERO SENSE for the other team. Think before you post.

Other possibilities: Alfredsson?
You would have to dump a lot more than Horton to make room on next year's cap for Heatly.

Does my post even begin to suggest that Buffalo would trade with Boston? The goal of my post was to explain that there are almost no sellers, and that as of today the list may be even smaller.

Clowe to Penguins for a 2030 7th rounder?

In all honesty they should be concentrating on the Sabres right now. Both in the game and in the front office. Hell they wouldn't even need to wait a day for Vanek make the deal ASAP

Crazy assumption on my part.

Buffalo and Boston have only made one trade with each other and that trade netted us Dan Paille for a 3rd round pick.

I understand, just throwing it out there. People tend to stick on the names that are out there in the rumors.

4th was conditional and they never got it so therefore it was a 3rd

Picky, picky.

There was a conditional pick in the deal if Paille scored 20 goals that season.

with the amount of breakaways the guy gets, he has the opportunity to hit that figure. just wish he had some finish (and not for the dishwasher...). would gladly have given that conditional 4th if he hit that figure.

Career high is 19 goals in 77 games back in 07-08. Would love it if he matched it again.

Crosby's teeth for the branding rights to Chara's mouthguard safety video and a conditional pick if Crosby was a good boy and flossed.

Put his teeth in Cammaleri's face, then acquire him. Profit.

How is alfredson a possibility? They are 2 points behind us and in 5th place. They never died out like most thought which is why at the beginning of the year his name was mentioned. Heatley is also not an option

Honestly, I hope the Bruins make a few moves but I can't deal with my heart being ripped out like it was last Thursday. I'll believe it when it is official.

Jeff Jillson deal. It was a 3 way but I'd still count it.

People need to realize that a big name is unlikely. ESPECIALLY if what we are offering are picks/prospects/ and bottom of the roster guys.

Focus on mid-tier guys on failing teams.

Fleishman
Tanguay
Vermette

stuff like that

Man I take Ribiero way before Heater. I don't think people understand how scummy and self-centered Heater is.

Heater is also totally incapable of creating his own offense. So he's essentially going to do whatever Krejci enables him to do.

Vermette would be a gem. If I recall, him and Bergeron were really close back in the day. Chemistry is important, and Vermette would fit in here nicely.

Vermette would be great, but I don't see how or why they trade him.

Vermette on a line with Kelly would be niiiiiice for line 3.

Was McNabb a trade? I think he was. I have a dvd that should have all that info pre 2010.

If anybody doesn't want him from this board they are a sleep. As Savard had filthy passes he has them also. People don't like him because he once flopped like a fish out of water. What they don't realize is that their team is LOSING and NOT SCORING.

What I would give to have scoring like a Kessel. No way would I give a Seguin, Hamilton and Knight for him though.
