We all knew it would happen eventually. But Avery wasn't the one I expected to hear it from.

Watching Iginla yesterday and I never realized how light his touch was when possessing the puck. Nice little passes and stickhandling to keep the puck away from the defender.

******* ******** ‏@*************** 16h
#BREAKING: Some oral work done on Crosby's teeth, but no broken jaw/bone. He is expected to be in lineup for #Pens next game.

RT @penguins: SIDNEY CROSBY UPDATE: Out indefinitely after having surgery Saturday for a broken jaw.

Ideally they lose to Buffalo and then clean the rags out both games in regulation. But as long as they split the games against the rags I'll accept.

The few that are left in the arena. Most left a long time ago.

So team officials say 'out indefinitely', but others say 'he'll be ready for the playoffs'. If the Pens are only saying 'out indefinitely', how can anyone else know he'll be back for the playoffs?

Also really funny that Paul Martin is also out 4-6 weeks, too.

Imagine if iginla would have shot the puck that hit Crosby. That would have made things even more interesting.

I still can't believe their hot streak has lasted this long. You'd expect them to come down eventually, but I guess they really just that good.

Well, they are only 5-5 in their last 10. But it certainly looks like they're ramping it up again for the stretch run.

Remember when the Pens gave up 50 goals a night in the playoffs last year? Yeah I do too. who did they add to help that?

NOBODY!?!!!???

Pens are the faves.

I don't understand the love for the Pens. What is one more scorer going to do to help their shaky D (besides Letang and Martin this year) and an even more shakier Fleury?

It's true. They gained more of what they already have, which is offense, but they also lost important pieces of defense due to injury.

In the playoffs, anything can happen. T'is why I love the sport so much.
