Paajarvi + 1st rounder on the low end. Might take Eberle in a one for one deal.

Chicago fans likely have huge mancrushes (and rightfully so) on Saad. Edmonton couldn't offer enough for him.

Chicago does that.. why?

Chicago's not moving Saad.. and these threads that come up, during very promising rookie seasons, are jokes. What kind of answer are you expecting to get?

If you want Saad, Chicago will take Eberle or preferably, RNH. Obviously, that's not going to happen, so why bother creating the thread?

I hate these threads. Why would the blackhawks trade a player on an elc that's been great for them when they need to manage their cap? When he was a prospect it would have been tough enough to get him. The price is something you wouldn't pay so move on.

It shouldn't be hard to figure out. You think Chicago fans are going to come in and say, "Oh yeah, we'll just take a 1st and Tyler Pitlick"? No, they're going to say Eberle, or Hall, or RNH and then Edmonton fans are going to come in and say, "Ha, yeah right, not even if you add Teravainen and a 1st" and then the threads going to be close because it should have never been created.

With the way Saad is playing and his low cap hit he wil not be moved, does not make sense. I wanted EDM to pick him up but they passed on him at the draft.

Boom goes the dynamite.

And as you can clearly see in the quote, there was no sarcasm emoticon. Just as I predicted.

What it would take, Edmonton would not give.

Teams don't generally trade rookies in terrific first seasons for anything less than an overpayment, so let's just close this one down.
