And how about Laich's injury? When he will come back?

No timeline on either. Green was put on IR today, eligible to return Thursday. Laich doesn't appear to be close, but could return at any time.

X2. I have already two guys on IR, so I'm unsure if I should waive him and pick up somebody..

Skating and traveling with the team, but they're being pretty tight-lipped.

Including tonight, Green has missed 11 of 13 games with groin injury. Oates optimistic #Caps D could play on road trip

Oates said he wasn’t sure if Kundratek, who suffered an apparent right leg/knee injury, would join the #Caps on the road trip.

Also, sound like Brooks Laich could return as soon as Tuesday. Erskine and Kundratek still both day-to-day. #Caps
Glad to see Laich will be back...

What's the over/under on how many games Green plays before going out again when he finally does get back in the lineup?

Nevurith

Has this guy just given up? Or what is the deal. I've never seen someone who every time it's their turn to play a game he's "sick". How many other players consistently miss time due to sickness when they barely ever play in the first place. Is he just that unlucky or is he fine just collecting his paychecks watching the game from home.

Probably trade-deadline related.

This interpretation continues to be ridiculous. Neuvirth possibly got a concussion in practice. Faking sick to get out of playing would be completely out of character for him.

Didn't hear that. Hit with a puck up high or something?

Neuvirth is probably legitimately injured.

Nevurith is probably a Cthonic demon.

Ovechkin nailed him in the mask with a shot. Neuvirth didn't take the morning skate today either.

Ovi just read all the comments on here about tanking and decided to participate. Just clocking fools with shots.

Still can't believe Lundquist shook off that shot to the mask last week. Sorry to hear about Neuvy.

what we really want is for neuvirth to go johansson and hide the concussion and puking and dizziness and play anyway. get shelled like detroit got on the first three shots with schultz potting one in his own net for extra measure.

but no. neuvirth says he's messed up and cant stand up without throwing up and holtby plays again.

Brouwer - Fantast Hockey Qs

Hey Guys..I'm in need of a RW for my fantast team and Brouwer is available..and to be honest I haven't followed him/Caps much this year but noticed he has some great stats this year...Is he a safe pickup for the rest of the year or has he gotten all those points early and cooled off (Like Tarasenko in STL...also Will Erat take his spot?
Thanks for the help

Erat will play LW in Washington. Brouwer should be a good pick up especially if Erat replaces Brooks Laich on the second line. Erat - Ribeiro - Brouwer line can do some damage. He's a lock for top-6 at this point because Ward and Fehr have been going through cold spells/injuries. Neither of them plays like a top-6 forward, so Brouwer is safe.

Does your league has hits category?

Biggest risk for Brouwer is that Ribeiro is cold right now, and PP production is going to be iffy (and will almost always go as Ovi goes, with Brouwer being a minor option to get many touches there).

Brooks is out for the season. He is undergoing surgery in the next few days for his groin. Dont expect a return this season.
