Hmm, but did Kassian get called in after the game to be on set with Don Cherry?

this McLaren fellow seems to be a tough boy. Its not easy to win against Kassian let alone so one sided.

Wasnt a great fight or a beat down but easy win for McL

You mean how he used Orr's helmet as brass knuckles?

Then decides to run from Orr when there is a chance of a fair fight?

Why would he run from Orr lol. There is no reason to believe that he would not fight.

Not sure what that poster is talking about. That would have been 3 fights for Kassian, which not only would have him ejected from the game, but could be bad for his health. He's obviously not scared of Orr. He willingly dropped his gloves in the first fight of the evening and won the fight. Orr had that helmet problem, but it's not like Kassian was banking on that to happen when they dropped the gloves.

This is basically a switch around of the Kassian-Orr fight...

Kassian 1-1 for the night..

Kass was on the receiving end here, but you don't often see the "winner" take off, and the "loser" wanting more.

Kassian did NOT even land 1 single punch on Orr... He just wrestled him down to the ice?

Sens fans are so funny.

He even included the sarcasm emoticon and yet you still missed it.

Orr lost his fight against Kassian, Kassian lost his fight to McLaren. Why is so hard to accept that? The quality of the fight isn't being discussed in the won/lost argument.

A win is a win.

GSP over Diaz last week at UFC, yeah that was a win even if it was awful. Learn how to judge fights on points. And they don't come often? that's 2 straight losses for Orr vs Ottawa, I'd say it's been fairly often..

lol sure just whip out ufc fights on a hockey board, id like to add that tho that fight was boring it went 5 rounds of 25 minutes of fighting, while your beautiful kassian win was 3 seconds of fighting. Truth is when you had carkner, orr turned him into a human highlight real of knockouts. Now mclaren just added to the knockout real with DD. Ill take decisive wins over your kassian and neil wins lol.

I whipped it out to prove a point that just because a fighter is technical it doesn't make him a coward, or discredit a win if he wins. Cam Janssen does the same thing and has made a career out of it.

Carkner also did the most damage out of all the Carkner/Orr fights, and made Orr a useless non-fighting plug for over a month during round 2 of their fights. I have no problem with any of the Carkner/Orr fights, so thanks for bringing them up! Remember McGrattan TKO'ing Domi? Lol.. yeah, good times.. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove.. The Leafs don't dominate as often as you think, Ottawa/Leafs have a history of fights going both ways.. not so sure why that's hard to understand or accept.

McLaren has been good in fights this year vs Ottawa, but the Sens have made Colton Orr their personal punching bag this year.

How many punches have they actually landed on him, would you say?

A better question would be how many has Orr landed himself? I guarantee it's not even a 1/4 of the amount he has received this season from the two fights.

Who cares who wins the fight. It's very minor in the grand scheme of things. What matters is standing up for your team. Fact is guys like Kassian, McLaren and Orr aren't effective players on most nights and are there to protect teammates.
