Because he can keep up with Dumont!! With Samsonov, let's just say I don't expect there to be many offsides on Ribs' part when Sammy is carrying the puck

Interesting notes:

-He says Gainey is pretty much done

And the best part...
-He said that Colorado had been trying to get Theodore all year. They had initially offered Aebi and HEJDUK for Theodore and Gainey said no. Later in the season they offered Aebi and Tanguay and Gainey said no. Then Theodore went into his slump and Colorado offered Aebisher only.

Just imagine...Had we known how bad he'd be would could have had Hejduk or Tanguay!

If you're wondering, yes my friend is trustworthy. I'm not reporting rumours or anything so I think this thread is ok.

Here's the major flaw... How the hell would Ribeiro know whether Gainey was done or not? How would he possibly now what Colorado was offering?!?

You think Gainey walks into the dressing room and says "Hey boys, Colorado just offered us Abby and Hejduk, but I decided to pass." If you're gonna make up a rumor, at least think it through.
