Archambault should probably go to the ECHL, but I guess they want to see what he's capable of first.

I'm guessing Avtsin never reported to the ECHL. Anyone hear anything about his situation?

If Kristo, Hudon, and maybe Bozon, Bennett join the Dogs, then they will become interesting to follow

Now that all but 4 teams in the NCAA have had their season end, will be interesting to see if the Habs go after any FA's. Getting Kristo to the Dogs would be fun to see in these last few games.

He's played well so far, wouldn't be suprised to see him get an NHL deal.

agreed, at worst he should get an AHL contract, but he's playing well enough to warrant returning next year.

I actually haven't heard, but I wouldn't be surprised if they cut ties with him.

Yeah, I'm expecting a solution similar to Berger.

And Hudon! Talk about a breath of fresh air with management. At every level they are saying "The chance is there, if you want to work for it".

As for Kristo, I suspect he signs this week, plays out the frozen four and joins the habs in the POs.

He's a guy I think they'll give at least another season if not 2...good size and speed and decent skills...at worse he could make a nice 3rd liner who can chip in 10-15 and kill penalities.

I'm really curious to see what happens with Archambault, Walsh, and Pribyl.

Hamilton will have a lot of spots open among their forward group next season. Hopefully they sign a few vets (particularly a centre who can put up points) to help out.

would likely be better for both sides so it would make sense. Habs could use the extra contract space.

He's been one of the biggest disappointments to me, hopefully he picks it up next year but haven't been impressed with him at all.

Perhaps none of three get NHL deals, but getting a few more vets next year is a must imo. Being 30th in the AHL sucks.

I don't think that would be surprising either.

Too bad about Walsh - he was a guy I always overrated.

Kristo's season is over.. And even if he was, he wouldn't be allowed to sign any pro deal.

I probably should phrase it better. If Kristo's season wasn't over and was going to the Frozen Four, he wouldn't be allowed to sign any pro deal.

Or am I wrong?

Correct, but the Frozen Four ends April 13th I believe, so there would have been time left for him to play pro games even after the Frozen Four had ND qualified for it.

Yes, but the poster said he would :

1) Sign with the Habs
2) Play the Frozen Four
3) Join the Dogs

Which is not allowed.

Anyway, we are saying the same thing, so it's all good.

Wheeling's season is over anyway...

By the way, the Dogs signed Adam Ross. He'll take Matt Grassi's spot in the lineup.

So the next few remaining games of the Dogs will be pretty interesting to watch: Archambault, Hudon, Vail, Collberg and maybe Kristo.

That would add dynamite to Dogs's offense. Too bad they wont play in PO

Anxious to see how the lightweights (Collberg and specially Hudon) will manage to survive in the AHL circus. Heads up guys!
