Ritchie had 99 goals in his OHL career, too bad he couldn't have gotten 1 more.

Ilves loses today. They still have a 3-1 series lead. Next game is Tuesday.

John Klingberg picks up and assist and scored the GWG in OT for Skellefteć. He also had a team high 7 SOG and minutes played of 22:05. This series is tied 1-1.

Not necessarily, he's expressed interest in remaining in the SEL a bit longer. Jokipakka and possibly Vance ought to be starting their AHL careers so it could be crowded down there.

I honestly don't ever see Klingberg being an NA player.

He doesn't have the defensive ability to ever be anything more than a MAB.

So what's the deal with J. Dowling? Do we get first dibs at signing him or what is the deal with his contract(SPC?)? How's he looked (his stats are looking solid)? Potential?

I believe Dowling is technically a NHL free agent, so while he has an AHL contract with Texas, a NHL team can come swoop him up.

He's one of the best players for Texas right now. He knows how to move the puck and is very much a playmaker, a pass first type guy. That said he can score goals. He's also good defensively and backchecks fairly well I believe.

He's a bit on the small side. I think he can be one of those boom or busts type prospects.

Ritchie/Stransky is going to be absolutely monstrous. Bend over nice and good Houston.

Ludwig Bystrom picked up a primary assist on the GWG in a 1-0, OT win of the semifinals. He plays in the U-20 Swedish Championship game tomorrow morning.

I doubt Stransky gets to play in the AHL this year, he still has to play in the Memorial Cup so he's stuck in the WHL until then.

That win for Owen Sound was the series clincher. Faksa and Kitchener will play the London Knights (#1 team in the entire OHL) in the next round. Smith and Owen Sound will play the Plymouth Whalers.

Sorry.

He had "homesick" issues when he was on loan in Finland, and honestly I just don't see him having the defensive chops to stick it in the small rink. It's just a hunch, but to me he's a prototypical big ice player.
