Official Individual Game Tickets For Sale Thread

The 2006-2007 schedule is out and opening night can't come soon enough. Many of us will have extra tickets that we won't be able to use for one reason or another. Others are looking to split their seasons or mini plans. I have received approval for this thread to be the place for us to put these tickets up for sale.

So tell everyone what you've got available. Remember to:
  • List the Section and Row of the seats.
  • List your asking price (Please keep all asking prices at or below face value).
  • Remember to mark your tickets as sold once they are gone.
For your reference here is a Seating Chart with prices for the Garden.

Let's Go Rangers!

I will definitely want at least 2 tickets for the home opener. If anybody already knows that they can't make it or have extras, please let me know.

I bought tickets for nine games last season from various posters on here and I didn't have any trouble/bad experience with anyone. Will definitely be looking for tickets throughout the season on here, so please keep us updated

I'm in the 400's, I lost 2 of my regular buyers from last year as they both finally could afforf to buy their own seats. I sell about 20-25 games per year. I do not know which specific games as of yet. I have looked through the schedule and have an idea of what I want to keep for myself, but it is not set in stone.

The following games are off-limits:

oct 5 vs caps
oct 10 vs flyers
dec 19 vs isles
jan 4 vs flyers
mar 1 vs penguins
mar 3 vs blues
mar 13 vs ottawa
apr 5 vs habs

pretty much all weekend games except for st. louis will be available.

Here is how I operate: if you have an interest, email me telling me:
1) how many games you think you might want (minimum 5).
2) any days that are good/bad i.e. you work thursday nights so they are out or you will be away from this day to that day.

In a couple of weeks I will break up the games and email you with what I can do for you. More often than not, I can usually get people a mix of popular and less popular games.

I can't promise ANYTHING on games, there are only so many islander, flyer, devil, maple leaf games to go around. If you are only interested in seeing the more popular or rivalry games, then look somewhere else. Email me at pcoughlin2876@yahoo.com

I sell for face value which is 52/pair. I have 2 seats, you must buy both so no singles. I will get the tickets in mid-september where I will arrange to meet you and exchange cash for tickets.

Looking for Sun. 11/26/2006 Buffalo 7:00P

I go to school in buffalo and one of the only times i'm home is of course when they are playing buffalo. I'm looking for the best possible tickets I can get that wont make my wallet cry. Does anyone have anything closer than the 100's. I figured the price would not be too bad because this is not really a high interest game. Thanks

You do realize the ice-level seats start at $125, correct? I'd say 75% at minimum of those tixx are owned by the corporations. You are not going to get those for cheap.

I have just about unloaded everything I was looking to sell. However, the woman who sits two rows in front of me is still looking to sell games. If you need games, email me and I will pass it on to her.

Ranger tickets for sale

I am looking to sell most of my season subscription. The seats are in section 334 row A seats 7 and 8 (one seat off the aisle, right at center ice). These are great seats, and probably one of the best values in the entire Garden!

I am keeping the 9 Sunday games. That leaves 32 games for sale including opening night. I am only interested in selling these games in blocks of at least 10 games. You must be willing to purchase both seats for at least 10 games at the face value of $43 per ticket.

You can email me at benfmd@gmail.com or call me at 212-203-3852.

Thanks,

Ben

A couple questions, hope it's ok for me to ask here rather than start a new post - it's ticket related!

I live in the UK, and in January I'll be making my 6th trip over to New York to watch the Rangers.

My intention is to buy tickets when they go on sale, via Ticketmaster, for the 3 games I'm hoping to go to. (Isles Jan 9, Ottawa Jan 11, Boston Jan 13). But I was wondering, say I can't get tickets for one or more of these games, is it possible for me to buy from here, despite the fact I live in the UK? I'm not sure what the protocol is for recieving the tickets - ie - whether they can be emailed, or if they are actual tickets that need to be mailed out, or picked up on the day of the game.

My concern of course is that I have the tickets in advance, cos as I'm travelling so far, I don't want to end up with no ticket on the day of the game!

Season ticket holders can use ticketfast to forward you the tickets to games via email. Once they are emailed to you the original paper tickets become invalid. So all you have to do is pay (PayPal works great) and get the tickets emailed to you. That's the easiest way to do it.

thanks for the info Broadwayblue, thats very useful to know.

Now I just need to wait til individual games are on sale - whenever that is! Then take it from there if I can't get tickets to the 3 games I'm after.

Question regarding ticket selling

Seeing that just about NO ONE ever wants to buy pre-season games and I have to pay for them anyway; would there be a problem of adding the cost of those tickets to the other games? (Example - I would take my invoice price and divide by the 41 home games). In the end it adds $2 per ticket to the "face value" - but is still cheaper than the cost of buying a ticket from the garden/ticketmaster at an individual game price. (Ex - Season ticket holders pay $26 for blue seats - if you buy the same "seat" from the box office for a single game it is $30.50. Therefore it is still cheaper than the box office price. I am NOT A SCALPER - but I also don't think it is fair that season ticket holders have to eat the cost of the pre-season games because no one wants to pay to go to them!).

Your thoughts please.

Are you talking about selling them for more than face value here, or in general? Look at it this way...in exchange for getting stuck with 3 meaningless pre-season games you get the privilege of getting to go to every playoff game. In good times that's a fair tradeoff.

Ticket Selling/Buying

Just my .02 here; Fans who buy from other fans create a win win situation. Buyers sit in seats that aren't available for games and sellers turn over games that they cannot or do not want to attend for whatever reason. Privelege goes both ways thus win win. I agree with jcrangerno that mandatory purchase of exhibition games adds to the cost of buying season seats, just look at your Rangers account bill. Whatever accomodation you make with that is your business. Guys who advertise games on fan sites for well above FV should not, there are other sites to advertise tickets if that is what you want to do. I bought a good seat for several bucks over face for Rangers Flyers last season; it was worth every penny and I got to know a really great fellow fan. He sold me the seat for way below what scalpers were selling for and I was happy to go. Ticket are really pretty reasonable until you get into the club seats, I remember sitting there day of game for $15. Go Rangers!!
