All 16 games went the way I wanted them to go.

Seven elite 8 teams left. Only team I'm missing is Kansas State, but no one has that portion of the region right because Gonzaga, Wisconsin, and K St all lost. No one has Wichita or La Salle.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd year in a row a play in team has made the sweet 16. So dumb. It's not fair to the upper seeds.

There should be one play in game, 64 v 65 to celebrate the opening of the tournament. The other 3 are just because of indecisiveness on the committee's part.

Mine did once Indiana went down. Damn shame too because just about everything else I needed was starting to break my way (Miami losing, Kansas losing)

Before these games I was in the 88th percentile. Don't want to know now, especially if Mich. State loses too.

Anyone see the absolutely horrific injury to Louisville's Kevin Ware vs. Duke today? One of the worst injuries I've ever seen in sports.

Went up to block a 3pt shot and came down and his entire leg snapped in half. In some freeze frames you can see the bone sticking out of his leg. You can see the reactions from the Louisville players right after it happens.

I really hope Louisville pulls it together and wins it the whole tourney for Ware. My heart goes out for the guy, hope he gets better soon.

Gruesome injury. Poor kid. Hope he makes a full recovery soon.

How can that happen on a routine jump and land?

That looked really really bad. He may never be able to play competitive basketball again.

I watched one replay of it and that was all I could watch. I was happy to see Louisville come together and beat Duke. But that was just awful, to see that severe an injury happen on such a seemingly simple action.

He broke his leg. He didn't get paralyzed. He's going to play basketball again.

I'll believe it when I see it. His vertical leap will most likely never be the same, kinda hard to play basketball with that

With today's medicine and surgeries, players can come back from pretty much anything besides spine injuries.

Then why did my sister's doctors say there's a chance she may never walk without a limp ever again after her accident last year?

I'm guessing he is gonna get a better doctor than your sister but still, when your leg does that it will never be 100% again. It just can't be.

I'd check her file but I'm not her doctor

My mother had knee surgery last summer and it took her a solid 4 months to move around without a walker. Marcus Lattimore had a gruesome injury, needed surgery and 4 months later he's running football drills like nothing happened.

My mom and your sister are not world class athletes and don't have access to the best doctors in the world.

Michael Bush and Joe Theismann had practically identical injuries and played again. Adrian Peterson and Wes Welker both tore their ACL's and were back within 6-8 months.

Shaun Livingston had one of the worst knee injuries I've ever seen and he's still playing in the NBA.

Kurtis Foster broke his femur and was able to come back.

Modern medicine is crazy. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head to break their shin in basketball like Kevin Ware did, but the point is a top notch athlete has a much easier time getting back to normal than the average person.

He's a college athlete, not someone with millions of dollars on the line. I don't know anything about him but unless he had a real NBA potential he's done. Louisville may give him some time if he can get back soon but at that point his scholarship will be gone in one form or another.

Also football players, especially QBs and RBs don't need all of their leg strength

Sid Vicious was never the same after his injury (Very similar. I'd even say Ware's looked worse). He had a few matches years later, but never really forced too much.

Pitino said it was the same injury as Michael Bush...Michael Bush is in the NFL now. it can happen.
