I hope he doesnt watch Bruins games or highlights, he may stay home and take the FA route. I would not blame him...

If we keep losing he's not gonna stay here long. FA and gone.

Highlights, if you want to see Carl's goal, etc.
damn that was a nice goal.

Come to think of it, a lot of the highlights I've seen show him driving the net. Really hope he comes over because on paper he's exactly what this team needs.

I found it funny because it's actually a realistic possibility finally. After all this time, I was at the point I was beginning to think Soderberg was not even real. Just a created entity with a rotating player wearing a Soderberg jersey.

Hey Dom, any prognostications that we can chew on in terms of additions by the trade deadline?

The fact that he is called the "goal scoring king" is great

Quote:
Goal scoring king, Carl Söderberg returns to the line-up after his four match ban and will be looking to redeem himself in this series as he has watched his two forward line mates Pär Arlbrandt and Simon Hjalmarsson carry his team into the semi-finals. This reuniting first line will need to put forward a dominant show and continue their magical form to get the puck past the outstanding Skellefteå goaltenders, if not it will be difficult for their team to progress.

haha! this is so much better than "Chia may make a deal, or he may stand pat. Hoping for the former, wouldn't be surprised by the latter. Only time will tell."

I hope this is a joke.

If Carl was attracted to any other team in the NHL, one would think it would be DET because of their many Swedes, and not PIT. In following Soderberg's career progression, it seems like he follows the beat of his own drummer, an bases his decisions on his own preferences and not what others think he should do? If/when he comes over, if Carl has a good experience, it would not surprise me at all I he re-upped with the B's.

I suspect if Carl steps foot in Boston it is going to be to sign a multi year deal. If the Bruins have followed him and feel he can help, it just makes to much sense for them to sign him for multi years, so they can reduce the cap hit, by using the 2012/2013 as a league minimum contract, and then add that to 2-3 years at a reasonable contract, and reduce the cap hit by 20-25%
