Neal-Malkin-Iginla ---- I prefer Neal on RW but it will do for now.
Kunitz-Jeffrey-Dupuis ---- fine
Morrow-Sutter-Cooke ---- fine
Adams-Vitale-Kennedy ---- Face it, it will be Glass-Adams-Kennedy. I can dream though

Orpik-Niskanen
Despres-Eaton
Murray-Engelland

We're putting an elite RW with Neal/Geno. I'm not worried about Neal getting less looks at the net moving to LW.

Heh.

This is DB after all.

We should know shortly what kind of lines we'll see Tuesday, with practice about to start.

I think one of the factors that needs to be looked at regarding the lines is players building chemistry prior to the playoffs. If you put Sutter between Dupuis and Kunitz for the next 3 weeks, he has no time to build chemistry with Morrow. I think you plug Jeffery into Sids spot until Sid comes back

Why are people penciling Bennett into the lineup? He probably won't even be recalled this season unless more injuries occur.

Neal - Malkin - Iginla
Kunitz - Jeffrey - Dupuis
Morrow - Sutter - Cooke
Glass - Adams - Kennedy
(Vitale)

This will almost 100% be the lineup.

With Crosby out, I guess we'll need a face-off specialist like Vitale (133W/78L) ... this year even Iginla (119W/118L) numbers are better then Malkin's (120W/143L). Otherwise we have only Sutter (291W/271L) with good numbers.

#Pens practice lines: 14-48-9 12-71-18 10-16-24 15-17-27 44-2 3-4 41-5-47.

Dan...Please don't let Tyler Kennedy be a top 6 center.

What madness is this?

What is it going to take to get Vitale into the lineup? Kennedy is not a center!

No, not April fools

Pens Inside Scoop ‏@PensInsideScoop 2m
To let 3rd line build chemistry for playoffs is my guess -SK @real_tstouff: @PensInsideScoop @penguins why not Sutter instead of TK?

Kennedy may be the better player that has more points, but why not Jeffrey between Kunitz and Dupuis? He can make plays, he's a natural center, just saying.

No big deal though, if Disco wants Kennedy, then it's Kennedy.

Maybe the Pens are showing off TK for one last time on the "1st" line, then Shero can trade TK and Glass for any Penalty Killer that has some face-off skill to help with the playoffs and until Crosby comes back.

Please, Ray Shero, you are our only hope of getting rid of Glass, because DB will NOT do it!

I love these lines DB is keeping the Geno and Sutter line together to get some chemistry before the playoffs start, I dunno how TK will work out but DJ has gotten plenty of chances to play with better players this year and hes shown me nothing.

you'll all be glad to know that Iggy is playing the point on the #1 PP

Send a message via AIM to SUBdrewgANS
so the lines will be:

Neal - Malkin - Iginla
Kunitz - Kennedy - Dupuis
Morrow - Sutter - Cooke
Glass - Jeffery - Adams

Im ok with keeping the 3rd line intact
Im ok with keeping Kunitz and Dupuis together
But Kennedy a top 6 center? no, no god please no, no, noooooooooooo

Put Jeffery there its the obvious choice out of the 2

Neal - Malkin - Iginla
Kunitz - Jeffery - Dupuis
Morrow - Sutter - Cooke
Glass/Adams - Adams/Vitale - Kennedy

I think that TK is up on the 1st line because of his speed, yes he sucks, but the reason that line is so damn effective is cause they're fast as hell, Jeffrey isn't in the same league as speed, and TK is a better offensive option believe it or not

this will be a very short experiment, you'll see DJ or Sutter up mixing up between 2nd and third line

Bylsma said Jeffrey could also see action between Kunitz and Dupuis. Kennedy worked there today

Happy, happy

Looks like Jeffrey will get some time with Dupuis and Kunitz as well.

From Molinari

Bylsma: "I think you would expect to see (Dustin) Jeffrey," not just Kennedy, play with Kunitz and Dupuis.going forward.

Did Iginla ever play the point in Calgary? As far as I recall, he spent the majority of his time from the face off dot in.

He has the velocity on his shot to be dangerous from the top of the circle. Niskanen will rotate to the middle, Iggy to the left wall, Geno to the right wall and Neal along the goal line.

No excuse for us not to torture PK units with that.

He's not going to be glued there, he'll drift to that face off dot, Niskanen will take the point, and than Geno or Neal will be at the right face-off dot. Either way, Iginla can rip pucks from anywhere, I'm not too worried about that

While I'm a proponent of having Iggy and Neal with Geno, on some level it would be cool seeing Kunitz with Geno, with Geno helping Kunitz win a scoring title. With Sid out and with Geno not his center, I can't see Kunitz having any shot to pass Stamkos.
