Likely had our chance to trade Couterier for Weber and turned it down. Hope they sell not try to make a push this season.

I'm pretty sure Nashville wanted Couts + Schenn+

Edit: At least I remember that being reported

It will come out today that this whole season + the lockout was a prank, the Predators didn't match the offer sheet and the real season starts tomorrow LOL!

I resigned myself to the fact that Homer was going to be a buyer last night, but please for the love of god not Couturier for Clowe.

If we absolutely have to buy, go get Jagr back for mid-late picks. It'd be a feel-good story to have him back again, a big boost to the locker-room, plus he's proven pretty healthy and effective in his 2nd year back in the NHL.

Weber and Rinne clearly showing they lack class. I wouldn't want them on the Flyers.

I'd even be pissed at that... Don't really want to give anything for a 41 year old nomadic ex-superstar. I do like Jagr, but no thanks.

You're preaching to the choir my man, but Homer is gonna Homer. IF he absolutely has to BUY something, please let it be Jagr for next to nothing. No Couturier trades under any circumstances.

The Rinne and Weber picture was photo shopped. They didn't actually hold up flyers hats

Guys.

Homer isn't going to trade Couturier for Clowe, the man with 0 goals in 28 games.

Apparently Stars turned down 2 No. 2s from a team for Jagr & won't deal unless blown away. Very unlikely he returns to #Flyers this year.
Randy Miller

Seriously the one year to sell, seems like Homer doesnt know what to do. I really do think he wants to be a big buyer though.

They're idiots. 2 2nds for Jagr would be a steal for them.

Would you guys do something around Gardiner and Couturier? Not saying that would be the whole deal but the main pieces. Or is Couturier here for the long-haul?

people need to realize that you're going to hear a lot of rumors at this time of the season and that 95% of them are complete BS or blown out or proportion.

It's also entirely possible that you could only get 15-20 games out of him before he books in the offseason. That's only worth two seconds to a team that needs Jagr to put them over the top. I don't see a scenario where that happens.

I have no problem buying clowe on the cheap if they like him long term but giving up anything of value would be insane
