The Creasy is the worst kind of "online insiders" you can find out there.

TBH, I don't know. Someone sent it to me, so I passed it along. Sorry if this breaches protocol.

I'd rather overpay for Clifford than Clowe. I'd trade our 2nd and a prospect for Clifford for sure. He fits in way better on this team too. A young, tough bottom 6'er who can put up decent numbers.

I'm waiting for *************** to confirm this before I believe it.

Not exactly Bobby Mac or DDreger. Sounds more like an April Fools joke than anything else. A bad one at that. Should have gone for the Kaberle for Komi trade rumour.

Creasy is part of Le Vestiaire's sources, which have proven to be a traffic mongering rumor machine. Deep Throat, Creasy, the Boss, etc. All to be taken lightly.

THIS

with the addition of Halpren, along with Bourque, White and Nokalinene in hamilton, not to mention Blunden, the depth up front is enough for me.

The weakness is on the back end.

They need a strong reliable Dman who can take on important minutes to balance the load with Markov and subban. When playoffs come it becomes a grind, and you need a big guy to lean on. The habs just dont have it on D.

as much as i appreciate the audition of rookies in the #6 spot, i would prefer to add a strong vet at this point.

get Regehr.

Apparently Stars turned down 2 No. 2s from a team for Jagr & won't deal unless blown away. Very unlikely he returns to #Flyers this year.

You mean it hasn't already started?
I kid, of course, but these trade deadline shows are out of control big time.

It starts at 8am, meaning they will have nothing to say for about 6 hours. It's like watching the muscular distrophy telethon.

Lots of internal debate in Stars front office right now: do they sign Jagr or do they trade him? Lots of interest in him of course

I am sure BG is in the camp of losing him for nothing.

I'd rather watch the tradecenter special on RDS featuring Gaston Therrien and Norman Flynn as trade insiders

based on these crazy ****ing prices, one of two things will happen

1) NO deals
2) very last minute deals from desperate GM's who lost their game of chicken

Dallas seems to like aging forwards so I would suspect the Stars hang on to Jagr.

We should help them out and give them another one. Gionta for Eriksson.

Absolutely

Defensive depth should be the first priority

You must have missed the Eklund special on Sportsnet 5-6 years ago

It was quality TV
