What? Flames traded for his rights and signed him before he hit UFA.

Or are you talking about some different player or this is some joke I'm missing?

Detroit would be an excellet place for J-Bo to land. Would really help solidify that defense.

I could see the Leafs being interested as well because they could really use another minute cruncher but I wouldn't be surprised if Feaster prices him out of Nonis' range in terms of futures.

Please, St Louis, do take him, so Holland can't overpay for him.

I think what will happen is, Feaster calls Detroit and says "Jbo really wants to play in Detroit" and that is when Ken Holland, will give the flames a ****** offer and calgary is forced to take it.

Don't really remember that at all, considering Bouwmeester was never even a UFA that off season.

Detroit has been interested in Jaybo for half a decade, as Wings fans we can only hope Holland continues to hate the asking price.

The idea that they want Mrazek (thrown out on TSN yesterday) is scary.

Feaster really isn't in a situation where he can accept what's viewed as a poor return, given the Iginla deal.

Unless the offer for Bouwmeester is a good one I'd expect the Flames to just keep him.

With Bouwmeester still signed for another year, there shouldn't be any urgency to get a deal done. Unless he's asked for a trade which would complicate things. And knowing how inept the franchise is, they'd likely find a way to screw it up.

The Wings need goal scorers. Not a player that will hurt our cap to go sign or acquire one.

I know there in 7th and Z might be hurt longer than the Wings are letting on. But If JayBo comes and the Wings miss the playoffs for the first time in 21 years, the JayBo curse will officially be the biggest in sports.

If that happens, hopefully the offer included a 2013 1st. ...... and despite the ridiculously, crazy odds, that pick wins the lottery

One can dream...

We are going to inflate the price for Detroit and sneak Giordano out of Calgary.

There's no need to throw a first in on this deal.

Quincey and Nyquist is a pretty good haul for CGY

If im calgary i ask for Sproul and Nyquist just to get at the table.

This could escalate, two division rivals competing for the same guy. Whoever gets him will have a major leg up on the other.

And then be separated by re-alignment never to care again.

If we have to give up our first rounder, I don't want Bouwmeester.

Just imagine, JBouw gets sent to Detroit and they end up missing the playoffs.

What table would that be? The coffee table in the psych ward?
