210 says he's in Wocester, so he's not coming here right away for sure.

Yeah but I'm sure it helped their conditioning and confidence.

People are starting to overrate Nieto a bit. He's not the next Couture, he's not the hero we need or deserve.

OK, just some "legal" stuff...presuming Nieto is here under an ATO (and to be honest, there really is no other logical way he'd be here) that virtually guarantees his ELC starts next season. If his contract is for next season he cannot be recalled to SJ this season, but he could play one NHL game under an ATO that SJ would sign him to.

Once he signs signs his ATO, regardless of if he signed an NHL ELC or not, his NCAA eligibility is over (signing an ELC does that too).

You're the one that brought Batman into this. I was thinking hockey Jesus, but you took it a step further into Batman territory.

He could probably make it before gametime if they let him park the Bat-wing in the Pavilion lot.

I know for a fact Nieto is not Batman...although I will freely admit that there is some suspension he may be because the two of them have never been seen together before, but I have met Batman, and I know he's no Matt Nieto.

I don't think those terms are necessarily mutually exclusive.

I'm gonna guess we don't see Nieto up here this year, but I don't really have a basis other than it'd be stupid to use up one of his ELC years, especially if we aren't planning to win the cup this year.

That was Tom Menino, who I've also met and have never seen in the same room as Batman.

I tell ya what, if Clowe is moved soon and we ice this forward lineup regularly for remainder of season (Assuming no NHL forward comes back):

Havlat-Thornton-Burns
Marleau-Couture-Wingels
Nieto-Pavelski-Sheppard
Galiardi-Gomez-Desjardins

Sure would be fun to watch! I'm not holding my breath that Nieto will be with the SJ Sharks this season, but if he is I'd want to put him on Pavs' wing and see what happens.

Pssh, noob. It's the Mike Rathje curse. He will never score any goals and everyone will complain he doesn't hit enough. I'm not sure how it will translate to a forward, actually.
