With the picks Montreal has this year and deeper draft they need to take some chances and see if the can grab a couple of power forward prospects. Habs never seem to try to get bigger guys at the draft. We see other teams are finding these players after we already picked so they are there for the taking. Max is the only big winger we have drafted in awhile.

Better a wonger than a ****** so he better play better if he wants to be a winger again.

He could of been a decent option for the 4th line. He skates well and jumps in to defend his teammates, basically he's a Sesisto clone.

But we all know the multiple excuses you give out for that subject..

Harry sucks.

He got 2 5 minute majors for hits in his 10 games, or whatever it was. He's not really skilled. He's not that big, but he's physical and fast. Rosehill is a heavy. I think Jody Shelley is still out.

Rosehill is not an NHL level player. I guess that's an excuse, sure.

I have a feeling we won't get much except maybe an older soon to be UFA dman for the playoff run. At most we'll trade lower draft choice or some farm team players were not high on.

We can beat them with skill and actual hockey instead. Our players are not intimidated, let the Broons get penalties while we maul them on the PP. Thats how we've beat them troughtout the years and we have been pretty effective in doing so.

Pominville -

Can play the point on our second wave PP
Can play first line
Moves Gionta to the third line, at the same time upgrading Eller's line.

Ryder-Plekanec-Pominville
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gionta (Prust would likely play instead of Galchenyuk on that line, especially in the playoffs)

That doesn't sound bad at all to me. It makes our top6 much more lethal and helps our third line as well. Our current team has 3 scoring lines and it is one of the strenghts of this team, we need to consider that. Very hard to contain so many skilled forwards. Pominville is good defensively as well, so yeah he won't punch Lucic but it doesn't matter if we score and the opponent doesn't.
No Pominville so quit asking. We don't need to give up high picks and good prospects for this pipsqeek. Don't ask again. Clowe is good. Clarkson and Glencross better. Giordano on D would be great. I would only give up alotfor Giordano. I would take Pommer if Gionta went the other way and we don't give up much.

I'd be happy with 1 or 2 big guys even if they are 4th liners or 6th D. The lineup we have right now is good, we just need some toughness for the playoffs.

I'm sure that Bourque and Diaz will be back.

Playing in the AHL. He is no better than anyone currently on the Habs bottom 6.

But he fights, so he's a God, I guess.

I guess you can add Latendresse but definitely this as not been the typicall choice in MTL.

Giordano hits, skates well, plays PP and PK. Cap hit is low. Nothing not to like about this guy. He is plenty big enough.
