They were reluctant to trade Koko for Iginla so I doubt that they trade him for a lesser player.

Also I don't think that Boston is on the best of terms with Calgary management.

???

Bergeron is getting 19:30 and Krejci sometimes sees more than Bergeron (like last year, and during their Cup run.) The rest of the top6 is playing ~17 per night.

Glencross for Koko + 2nd?
What about Bart and a 2nd? Or Bart, some other forward prospect (or if not enough add Caron)?

No way to Bart and a 2nd. Glencross is potting goals left and right and is on a sweetheart deal. I'm not even the biggest fan of Glencross but that's a terrible proposal, sorry. And as always when mentioning Glencross it's important to reiterate he signed in Calgary for so cheaply to get a NMC so he doesn't have to leave.

And for the posting who brought up Iginla as a comparison, it's not really that applicable. Iginla is a 35 year old UFA, Glencross is a 30 year with 2 more years on his deal at 2.5M after this one and is putting up better numbers. Iginla is the better player and has the leadership, but Glencross has more value as he's worth more than 18 games and the playoffs to whichever team acquires him (if he waives).

The Iginla package if Feater/Glencross are amenable. Affordable scorer who also plays a Julien-style game with the Bruins in a cap pinch moving forward? Sign me up.

Insert whatever Iginla/NTC/Bruins joke of your choosing here.

Yes GlenX is less than Iggy, but he has a SUPER low cap hit, scores at a 30 goal pace, and is signed for a while.

His value is actually real high.

Yes dude... but we consider Koko as a blue chip ... We wouldn't get a Koko type player for Pevs soooo why would we pay that ?

Your dreams of getting Koko is over !! unless its Cammi or 1 of your top D

I dislike Ribeiro. I don't hate him with a passion, but I don't like him and don't want him on the Bruins. Unfortunately...when he pulled his most infamous theatre, guess who his coach was? A certain coach who undeniably has favourites. Is Mike one of them? I hope not.

At this point, I'd say the biggest difference between Glencross and Cammalleri are their contracts. Cammalleri's better suited for a first line role and top PP time, but he's not a player who should be the anchor on his line. And now when he's not scoring he's not adding much else to the team. At least Glencross when slumping can be put into a pure defensive checking role given his speed and usually gets him going again. Since both are scoring at about the same rate and Glencross' contract is 1/3 of Cammalleri's I believe there's several Flames fans who would argue Glencross is worth more than Cammalleri. So if you'll give more for Cammalleri than Glencross we'll take it.

Now I don't see how the Bruins accommodate the 6M cap hit Cammalleri has going forward without major changes, so I don't see them showing much interest really.

I'd probably do it how many years left on his deal ? cause yes his contract would force others out of beantown

Get jagr. he is the best forward available.

Him and Krecji would have chemistry. Put lucic on that line and its sick.

Curtis Glencross and Ryan Clowe would be two pieces I see them targeting.

If the B's need help on their PP, they should get Jagr or Hemsky. Both would be big upgrades who would provide instant offence.

Blue Chip? As in a sure-fire top line forward? Blue chip getting thrown around loosely. Koko is a perfect example of potential. He may/may not make it and he has value, but let's not go overboard.

Crucial time in contract talks between Streit and the Islanders. Wed's morning will be cut-off and his trade status determined.#tradecentre

Couldn't hurt to grab Hemsky if the price is right.
