There has never ever been a bidding war on any of my cards, or even more than one bid.

Won the amateur playoffs. Beat two guys with ridiculous lineups compared to my team that I just started earlier this week. Feels good mayne.

Helm - Filppula - Stafford
Raymond - Cogliano - Bozak
Kostitsyn - Bouchard - Setoguchi
Cooke - Scheifele - Frattin

Gardiner - Franson
Rielly - Seabrook
Hedman - Gilbert

Dubnyk
Reimer

Ok how many gold packs do you guys have bought to get few GOOD players? I've bought like 8 5k packs, 6 7.5k packs and about 3-4 these promo packs and i can only name 3 players that i remember getting from those, that are even 'decent' Dustin Brown, Carl Hagelin, Zach Bogosian. Seriosly i watch these teams that ppl are running and think 'Jeez that guy must have spend a fortune to get those ovechkins, crosbys, charas and so on'. But ok i started this like 2 weeks ago and im running.

Marleau - Couture - St.Louis
Vlasic - Boyle

Seguin - Bergeron - Grabner
Keith - Carle

Gerbe - Roy - Pomminville
Ehrhoff - Bowmeester

Raymond - Cogliano - Helm

Just got such a satisfying win.

The guy I was playing decided to watch every replay of all his goals and ended up ahead by one going into the third. He would always do the tie up faceoff from center with a fast winger for a next to impossible to defend breakaway. He then decides to spend the whole third playing keep away with Chara and Gaborik literally skating circles around his own zone. No matter what strats I had I was the only player attacking him so it was impossible to get the puck away.

Anyway, after finally getting the puck my Kessel was able to tie it up with less than one minute to go in the third and then pickup the OT winner

I dont usually send messages after games but those is one of them.

A nice good game when it clearly wasn't or nice turnover are the best ones when you beat a idiot like that.

I sent a message after the game. Wasn't the most polite message and I didn't hear a reply.

So I try to avoid exploit goals like the plague, but I've made up my mind anyone someone I'm playing against goes crazy with fist pumps after scoring I'm gonna go get a cheapie. I hate when people go crazy with celebrations.

Thats a pretty decent looking team.

Ive been playing longer and my team is less "star-y" than that. I sorta gave up on the all world team and put together a more realistic team. Having more fun with that.

Hossa - Toews - Kane

Trying to do this.
Marleau - SOTW Thornton - SOTW Pavelski

I love doing that, have Neal-Malkin-Iginla for my first line followed by Marleau- Thornton- Pavelski and Semin- Staal- SOTW tlusty. Not sure what to do with my fourth, have Skinner and Jordan Staal, but no cane should be on that other wing. Your Blackhawks line is awesome though, love it.

It is a lot of fun to play with. I would not do that Pens line though because of chemistry I would switch Neal with a SOTW Kunitz.

Kinda read my mind there, saving up some pucks for Kunitz, Neal is a placeholder.

Need a SOTW Little for a decent Jets line. Already got Ladd and Wheeler.

A SOTW E. Kane would be sick.

There is an E. Kane SOTW. Extremely rare though.

What about you getting SOTW Enstrom? He's been a nice lil' player for me. Love his speed.

So I sent a sick trade to a SOTW Pominville in like 12 different combinations. He didn't even sell for 120k

I sent him SOTW Pavelski
SOTW Enstrom
Weber

And I tried

Kane
SOTW Enstrom
Weber.

I have SOTW Lehtonen and SOTW Enstrom on the block

Anyone interested in SOTW Kadri, on PS3? I have one. Untouched. LMK.

Also anyone interested in SOTW Pavelski or SOTW Vermette?

Was just offered for Kadri SOTW: J. Staal, Eberle, Miller, Huberdeau SOTW(82 OVR) and $12k. Declined.

Looking to sell Pavelski though, so LMK.

Hope there's a Dubnyk or Yakupov, or new Sen/Oiler SOTW soon.

You know the market is ****ed up when nobody wants a Gaborik card for 82k pucks.

Finally finished my team. Would like to upgrade a few to SOTW, but in due time. All players in their proper positions after position changed and finally changed all line to Sharks except the 4th FWD (St. Louis) and 3rd D (Phoenix).

Jagr has the C. May not be the smartest move, but it was made for sentimental reasons.

I always would give Owen Nolan +9 shots and +5 overalls in NHL 11, and despite only being a 79 and having one training slot (max 84 if he got the +5), he dominated. I think when you have your favorite players you definitely play a little better with them, so giving those sort of things to all-time favorites is a nice little boost.

SOTW Marleau-Thornton-Jagr (C)
Couture-SOTW Pavelski(A)-Havlat
Lucic-Benn-Voracek
Oshie-Backes-Setoguchi

Chara-Boyle(A)
Myers-Burns
Yandle-Michalek

SOTW Bishop
Niemi

OK made some changes now I need to make some decisions.

Some players have to go from my forwards, as I don't have good chemistry anymore.

Suggestions welcome:

Depth chart:
LW: Zetterberg, Hall (A), Nash, Ponikarovsky
C: 91 Gretzky, Toews(C), E Staal, J Stoll, RNH(A)
RW: SOTW Lecavalier, M Richards, J Carter, Eberle
LD: Chara, Bouwmeester, Hedman
RD: Doughty, Myers, Burns
G: SOTW Bishop, Brodeur, Anderson, Mason, Dubnyk, Khabibulin

Players I'm most inclined to move are: Zetterberg, Staal, any goalie other than Dubnyk.

I have a SOTW Lecalvier but I have Pavelski and he's about 45k unless you're on PS3
