Sherwood Coffey Stick

Hey,

I have been looking to buy a one piece sherwood coffey stick, but all I can find is a 95 flex. Does anyone know if they make them in 85 and how much they cost? Canadian Tire has the 95flex ones on for half price, but no 85s.

They definately do make them in 85 flex. I think the 5500 model would have them rather than the 7500. I'm sorry I don't know where to get them though.

Well last game I played I nailed the crossbar, so not always top shelf.

the term 'banana blade' was made for Coffey sticks, between his blade and skates two sizes to small, the guy was a freak!

The curve is principally for slapshot or shoot ?

I would say it is more for a wrist shot or a deke. I love it for the in close moves, I am not a big slapshot guy.

Yeah, it's great for the tight moves, because of the big curve. You can kind of "cup" the puck in there, and the other guy can't take it away from you. Plus, your shot gets better and faster from the perfect curve. I don't have much trouble with the backhand, either.

The OG wood is still my all-time favorite stick. Can't play with a regular curve ever again!
