For S+G I give you the LA Kings trade tracker:

Darcy has tonight, tomorrow, and "crunch time" Wednesday. I'm curious as heck to see what he gets done with the obvious stuff out of the way so early. Regier being proactive? Who would have thunk it?

The market was there this season.

You shouldn't under estimate regier while he has a completely different direction from above.

So much for Kings fans thinking they would get Regehr for a 3rd or 4th round pick.A 1st would have been nice but considering LA doesn't have one this year, 2 2nds is almost close in value for a 1st.Now with 3 2nds this year, which would be #35,#45 and #51 going by points, would that and our 1st (currently 5th) be enough to move up to #2 and ensure we get either Drouin or Mackinnon?Darcy isn't afraid to trade 2nds (see Moore,Torres,Boyes, trading up for Girgs) so I can definitely see Darcy moving up with those 3 2nds (or instead of moving from #5 to 2 or 3 with the 3 2nds, how about moving the 3 2nds to move up to the #14th pick in the draft?)

Can we stop calling him Darth for getting fair market value for Regehr and Leopold? If you didn't think we'd get three 2nds for our UFA defensemen--especially after the Murray trade--then you weren't paying attention.

We say this every year and the other shoe never drops. He's taking these picks to the draft.

Congrats to RR. Going to the Stanley Cup champs is a great move for him. Back in the Western Conference. Probably playing minutes that a 3 -4 or even 5 - 6 pair gets. Reunited with Darryl Sutter too.

Think I'm going to be rooting for the Kings this playoff.

Hodgson came out of nowhere last year. Darcy doesn't leak info, he's hard to predict

Don't spoil the fun.

Darth waves hand "These defensemen are worth market value."

Nicely done. Identifying pieces that have value to others, and not us, and getting assets in return.

Are both second rounders for this upcoming draft ?

LA only has their own, AFAIK. This year's and next I believe.

I feel bad that the team wasn't better when Regehr was here. It meant a lot to fans when he agreed to waive his no trade clause to come to Buffalo. I wish him the best and hope he wins it all in LA.

LA only had one 2nd this year, so it's likely 13+14.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2014 one is conditional.

I did last season, and I will again, despite being "Philly West"

Huge return for a declining UFA! Very happy about this! JFB must be licking his chops at his upcoming mock drafts with all these picks! ^_^

That is way to much to move up. This draft is very deep, you keep all the picks and take BPA. Or use it as ammo to snag another 1st/prospect/roster player at the draft.

Decent return but they'll be low 2nds. It'd be nice to have gotten a first from a bubble team (hence shot at lottery if they miss the playoffs), even if it required us to add. But we got two worthwhile assets for an expiring player. Stockpiling quality picks to make a move now or in the draft, and we could still sell other pieces before Wednesday's deadline.

I disagree. They can easily be going into the draft with all these picks with the intention of moving up or making moves then. They may well trade for a young player by the deadline -- perhaps even have a trade set up -- but it doesn't need to be the case.
