Feaster supports the tank, but does not support the rebuild. Can we please get a new GM?

Wow a tiny defenseman and a no name goalie. I hope to God Feaster can trade all the extra 1st round picks and pick 1st and second otherwise he's pathetic.

Bouwmeester last year was a laughing stock. Any poster on HF would laugh if we asked for a 1st in this years draft, let alone the 2 no-name prospects.

He's having a better year, we trade him. The guy is not a winner. I say good-bye. Time to focus on the future.

You're terribly off base here.

B.Morrow, Regehr, Murray netted fantastic returns, yet the Flames get the short end of the stick time and time again.

It's not a coincidence.

Well this is surprising. I was willing to dangle Montreal's 1st along with Louis Leblanc and Ryan White for JBo.

And why do the rebuilding Flames need to dump salary exactly?

I can't believe thats all you could get for a guy like jBO. Feaster has taken your two most desireable assets and has sold them at 50 cents on the dollar. Bring in Burke asap.

My condolences Flames fans. As a diehard Toronto Raptors fan I'm no stranger to the effects of incompetent management on a franchise. At the very least you guys are unloading salary and stockpiling picks. Good luck.

Maybe Murray Edwards is making these trade calls.

To sign a larger quantity of middling forwards.

Wow - and I thought Bouwmeester was going to be the trade that brought in the assets for the rebuild.

I mean - who's this Rita Berra and what's she accomplished?

Look at it this way we have two picks in this years draft and even if we do not have the Blues 1st rounder this year at least at least we will get their first 1st 2014 meaning we would have two first rounders in 2014 if we do not trade our pick.

I can think of 6.68 million reasons why the return wasn't better.

Why didn't we retain some cap?

So the return is maybe not that bad.
He has a 3.01 GAA and .906 SV% playing in the Swiss league. I doubt he will ever play in the NHL.

I didn't think that was one of the goals of the rebuild. I didn't think the Flames were anywhere near cap trouble.
