Really, really hoping this doesn't impact salary for next season in terms of RFAs.

I think it's safe to say that with the selling of Peoria, Stillman is willing to put in more money into this team.

I've never been the biggest Jay-Bo fan but we got him for a 1st, Cundari and Berra? Done. No givsies backsies.

Seriously? Is Army pulling a big April Fools joke here? Cundari is a good minor league d-man but I don't see much of an NHL future for him and Berra has never even sniffed N.A. and has no plans to ever come over unless things have changed lately.

The main concern here is how the heck the Blues afford Jay-Bo next year along with raises to Petro, Shatty, etc. Probably some more trades coming.

Wow, hard to believe the Blues only gave up a 1rst round pick. As someone said I didn't know Berra was still Blues property. Cundari had no future with the Blues.

There are 9 defenseman on the roster now. You would think something else is coming.

Polak, Russell, Cole, Redden

Who goes? We cant carry 9 D-men.

I doubt its Polak, he is still our most physical defenseman. Russell makes the most than Redden and Cole, and will probably make more on his next contract than Cole. He seems most likely. We could just waive Redden too.

I kinda hope we give up some players for picks, just so the salary can chill out a bit

And chance Jackman goes? Seems like every time a goal is given up, hes on the ice.

Everybody says how soft Jay-Bo is, he can't be any softer than Petro or Shatty can he? I'm not saying Petro and Shatty are really that soft, but they are far from physical.

Looking at our long term depth, I'm guessing a top 9 winger, one of our LD's and a prospect for a top 6 C. The pieces and depth makes sense.

Like the trade, but what does this do to the budget? Bouwmeester gets $6.6 million next year.

If anything this makes the Leopold deal slightly puzzling unless the conversations with Feaster didn't look very promising 48 hours ago. Russell has been playing great.

You don't need to be physical to be effective. That is all you can say to people who care about that.

Jax is the kind of guy to take a salary cut in STL. No way Jax is moved, he's been here his whole career and it's not like he's an Iginla/Bourque.

This may be the case. Apparently...
